Question

Alright, guys. I've been mulling over why I can't post on this as regularly as I used to and I think I've finally figured it out. It's because all I need to do now is write a few more chapters to complete this. Now that I know it's ending, I can't muster the devotion to actually write that ending.

I know I know there's a ton of stuff I can still do, with Essos and whatnot but honestly that's not what this story was ever about (as you probably know if you paid attention reading). It was about Karl manuvering the Westerosi Civil War as a being that could completely break the world and still grow from it with an approximate total of 130-150k words.

I had it all planned out, and most of those plans are finished. Ofc, there's times where I feel there's certain nuances I wanna explore that I simply can't because of how Karl is as a character, even certain plots that I just can't do with him. There's like six points left to write (one chapter usually tackles 2-3).

I have no desire to milk this beyond its end.

I also have a ton more ideas I wanna write, they REALLY tacked up while I was focused on this and solely this.

What I'm trying to say is, I'll leave the final decision with you, my dear readers. Should I power through and give you an end? Or summarise it and start on the next work? There's really not much left.

I'm doing this because I feel really bad not posting anything and equally as bad not getting to write as much as I want to.

I'll probably do a poll or some such for the next book to decide which one of my ideas I wanna put into words next.

You're free to say whatever you think, I won't mind.

Finish it

One story character development idea is him finding hobbies that are readily available to him in Westeros that he didn’t get the chance to pursue because of how inherently hostile the lands between are. He could maybe create a distant base out of a mountain and teach his own life skills and discuss philosophical topic a like the ancient Greeks did. Either way follow what makes you smile.
