webcomics.yaoi911.com is now youngprotectors.com

Hey y'all!

I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that all went well with moving the webcomics site to the new domain name: youngprotectors.com. It all went super-smoothly, and I'm grateful. It's good to get it finally done! :)

What's changed?

The domain name is the only thing I've changed. You'll find the same comics, same look, even the same links, just using "youngprotectors.com" instead of "webcomics.yaoi911.com."

I've set up 301 redirects so all your old links will still go to the right places on the new site. But those redirects might not be there forever, so you'll want to change any bookmarks you have for my webcomics site to the new URL, including:

This is the new link to get to the most current Preview page on my site:

And this is the link to get to the most current public (colored) page on my site:

You'll notice that the only thing that's changed is the domain name, so when you edit your bookmark, that's all you need to change. But it's probably just faster to copy and paste the whole thing into your bookmark to replace what you have.

Log In With Patreon at the New Site

As you know, $5+ Patrons get access to exclusive pages on my site, and in order to get access to them, you need to be logged in with an account that's connected to your Patreon account. Since this is a new site, you'll need to log in there to get access to these pages.

And this gives me a chance to make a little Public Service Announcement. :)

One of the things that I'm not sure I've been great at explaining is that I actually post my content up at three totally different websites. 

I post content here at patreon.com (a  Web site owned and controlled by Patreon). I post content up at my Community site which is at https://community.amwcomics.com. And I also post comics up at my webcomics site (where they are easiest to read)—that's the site that is now at youngprotectors.com.

All three sites have separate logins. Just because you are logged into one site doesn't mean you are logged into either of the other two. You can be logged into patreon.com and not be logged into my webcomics site!

How will you know that you are logged into youngprotectors.com?

You'll see a dark bar at the top of the page with your username like this:

You need to be logged in at youngprotectors.com using your Patreon credentials to be able to access the Preview Pages there.

How do you log into youngprotectors.com with your Patreon credentials?

It's easy! 

Underneath the comic page art, at the top of the right sidebar, I've added a big, orange button that will let you log into my site using your Patreon credentials.

Click on that and give Patreon permission to log you in, and you should have access to all the locked pages on youngprotectors.com.

If you have any problems, try logging out (using the dark bar at the top of the page) and logging back in (using this orange button). That should fix things. If not, then let me know here and I'll figure it out. :)

P.S. I know Patreon just sent out a huge email about Sales Tax. I'll write something more about that in the next couple days, but the short answer is that most of you won't see any sales tax added to your pledges to me. 

It's been very clear time after time when I've checked in with you via surveys, etc. that while the benefits I offer are nice, that the reason you joined the Woolfpack here is to support my work. That's not taxable. So most of you will see no sales tax added to your pledge amounts, and those at the very high levels (who receive, for example, physical rewards) will only see a small fraction of your pledge taxed.

I got that all in place weeks ago. so you're covered.  Let me know if you have any questions, but I'll say more later. I just wanted to let you know that I had your backs on this. :)
