Keep your lines straight.

Not only I have to manual focus accurately, but I also try to maintain my camera perfectly straight.
Not easy without an additional vertical grip, but the electronic spirit level inside the viewfinder is a great help (and another distraction that is slowing me down...)
But I'm not in a hurry after all, I have usually 3 hours at my disposal, and it is better to get less picture of better quality, rather than the other way round.
I find that straight lines are improving even my "casual" photography and, if required, I can always adjust the framing in Lightroom later on.
Converging lines, when I'm shooting from a higher or lower position, do not feel like a problem to me.

The activities that are really wasting my time are the videos, but now that I've introduced them, I realise there's no way back 😅you like them too much, and they are giving a precious insight about what is like to work with certain models.

Keep your lines straight. Keep your lines straight.

Videos take up a lot of space in servers but, at least for editing, I'm trying to keep things simple by using the limited possibilities of iMovie. There is no end to what you can achieve with videos, but every step is extremely expensive, and I want to concentrate on stills alone. I try to use videos just to give more context but I'm reconciled with remaining at a basic stage.

The editing of the videos must be very time consuming.
