Uploading Process:

Thumbnails: Thumbnails set a great preview for what’s to come when a sub buys your clips. Some thumbnails can be a photo or with most clips sites, the system will generate a 8-10 second video preview for the customer to access. This is optional if you’d rather just have a still photo as your preview.

If you want to create clean thumbnails for your visuals, photo editing apps like Canva can make this process easy, with pre-made thumbnail templates. 

Filming with others: If you plan on featuring subs in your content, you’ll need to fill out a Performer Consent form per clips website. You will also be asked to provide the subs photo ID. Note: if you upload clips without following these steps, your clips will be flagged and you can potentially lose your account.

Pricing: What you choose to price your clips is completely up to you. There is no set standard pricing in this industry, but it is always a good rule of thumb to price things based on the time and energy that went into producing it. Clips sites will have different percentages that they take out from your earnings, so make sure you are taking this into consideration when setting your price.

Cross Promotion: Cross promotion helps with your visibility across different platforms. You never know where you might find your next customer which can lead to more clips sales, tributes, and booked sessions. To make this process easier for you, most websites have a section within your account settings where you can connect your account to your Twitter to ‘auto-tweet’ for you. Every time you post a new clip, receive a sale, or receive a tribute, a tweet will be generated automatically.

Custom Clips: There will be customers that request custom clips from you. This means that they want a special clip made for them where they may describe a scene or certain fetish they want you to film. Since most subs will also want you to use their name in these clips, it’s recommended that you charge higher for these as you can’t reuse the clips on other websites because of the customization.
