2023-09-10 15:25:28 +0000 UTCNot only did they debut when they were young (14-17) but if you include most of them training for 3-4 years they've basically spent the past 10-11 years together almost everyday. Like Jisung was 11 when he became a trainee and turned 21 this year and Mark became a trainee at 13 and turned 24 this year so if you think about it the members have spent basically all their significant years together, so they're extremely close. Since they debuted so young they couldn't make friends in the industry (they're the youngest 3rd gen idols) then at school no one their age was an idol either, so they've only had each other for a long time. Of course the older NCT members looked out for them and tried their best to look out for them (i know that Ten and Kun lived with them until most of them became adults and they debuted in WayV) but they also have their own group activities and work. Minghao and Junhui from Seventeen have also taken care of Renjun and Chenle since they debuted, because Chenle was 14 and Renjun was 16 and they both knew how hard it was to be away from home so after debut they reached out to them (i think through Lay from EXO) and took care of them as much as they could until they became adults. But even now when they're available they hangout all the time and like Jun and Minghao even know Renjun and Chenle's parents and visit them when they go to China. I think many members of NCT and SVT have become friends because of this lol (recently Mark and Chenle had a get together to watch Jun's drama and sent him messages teasing him lol).
