This is so true. Even since the first ep when weiying was pretending to be Mo Xuanyu, everyone recognized Mo as this crazy man but he was the only one to speak to him in a respectful manner. Also, 16 yrs later when Uncle Lan got hurt and Sizhui was still lingering around outside and Weiying (Mo Xuanyu) asked him "what's wrong?", he went over to him, called him senior Mo while bowing. It goes to show a lot about his character. Also, in the 1st ep, idk if anyone ever mentioned this but when the Lan's set up flags and weiying was playing a song with a leaf, Sizhui was the only who recognized it and was like "doesn't this melody sound familiar? Like something we heard at Gusu?". Which means for those 16 yrs, even while Lan Zhan was raising Sizhui, he continued to play the song hoping that it could still be heard by weiying. In Lan Zhan's song, there's even a line that goes "a song of inquiry, unanswered". Also, the ep when Xue Yang appears and Weiying told the juniors to excuse them, Sizhui was still the only one who lingered and as he was walking said something about "I don't know what it is but whether I'm with Hanguang Jun or Senior Mo I know I am safe". Something along those lines. Overall, just wanted to say how impressed I've always been that everything comes full circle.

2024-06-18 07:20:01 +0000 UTCHonestly at first it was hurt how jiang cheng mistreated Weiying and being this cold hearted Actually it hurts me more than when weiying had an argument with LanZhan this is his brother whom he grew up with and its understandable that he was deceived like the others and I really wanted their relationship returned, but after this ep I just didn’t care anymore , l mean now the truth came out and it’s clear Weiying was innocent and framed up but still he goes and throw harsh words at him even was about to harm them with the whip like at this point I just hated him don’t know how long would he continue mistreating Weiying if wen Ning didn’t reveal the secret!! , also Wen Ning the g.o.a.t he has no reason to be this cute he’s so precious l just love him 😭🤍, and thank you guys can’t wait for your reaction to the end🥹 .

But the author stated that Wei Ying eventually formed the golden core with Lan Zhan’s help since Mo Xuanyu’s body had the ability to do so. I loved this episode so much. It was so satisfying to see Jiang Cheng find out the truth. I think it’s best for everyone that he found out tbh. I have sympathy for Jiang Cheng but I’m glad Wen Ning did what he did. Also the scene where Lan Zhan gives Wei Wuxian the lotus pod is so cute. It shows how much he cares about him and also I think he was especially sensitive towards Wei Ying since he had just found out about the golden core. It was so nice to see Wen Qing and Jiang Yanli again even if only as hallucinations and memories. I just love so many of these characters frl. 😭 I’m so sad but also excited that there’s only episodes 47-50 now!

No, WeiWuXian still doesn't know about that Ah-Yuan is alive, when he saw WenNing and AhYuan talking again and LanZhan stopped him it was because he didn't want WenNing to "bother" Lan Suizhi, but WeyWuXian still doesn't know that his Ah-Yuan its alive. MoXuanYu's golden core is not yet fully formed, WeiYing does not have the power that his previous body had. But to develop the golden core of this new body, the author MXTX said that LanZhan would help him in the future through "Dual Cultivation". They will cultivate every day. Because every day is every day. If you know what I mean =)

It's like how any parent would recognize their child even if many years have passed since the last time they have seen them. And also, we need to give Lan Zhan credit for raising Wen Yuan (In Lenny's famous words: Give that man a beer) into such a respectful, healthy and kind person. It seems like Wen Yuan has both of their personalities mixed together because I definitely remember that he was naughty/mischievous when Wei Wu Xian raised him, and now he has Lan Zhan's patience and empathy.

She says tough words all the time but she cares for her family so much. Remember when Wang Lingqiao came to Lotus Cave and wanted to punish WY, Mrs. Yu whipped WY so bad. But I personally think her actions are reasonable. The Wens were so big back then, they had also taken a lot of clans down. Mrs. Yu wanted to protect the Jiangs so she had to beat WY up, it looked harsh but it wasn't. She told Wang Lingqiao it would take a month for him to heal and be able to walk again but WY was able to stand up, run and even fight like 5 minutes later :v Yes she didn't like WY but she wouldn't do dirty things like abuse him or something. WY said himself that although Mrs. Yu scolded and asked him to kneel down all the time but she has never beaten him. About her blaming WY for everything, well yeah, that's wrong :v And Jiang Cheng :))) Well, if you rewatch the show, you will like him more for sure. The relationship between JC and WY is so complicated, to be honest, I either blame no one or blame both, and I prefer the first option. They were so different from the very beginning. WY has a heroic ideal, he's the "between family and other people, I choose to save both" type of main character. But JC cares no one but his family, included WY. If you rewatch the show, you will see JC always reminds WY to not cause any trouble for their clan. When Jiang clan got wiped out, he blamed WY for saving JZ which indirectly lead to the Jiangs demise. When WY saved Wen Qing family and got hated by everyone, JC told WY to give them in and said "If you insist on protecting the Wens, then I can't protect you anymore!". He cares for WY so much, he understood that protecting everyone is a big deal so he only needs his family. But WY is not like that, "Knowing that you can't do it but still proceed to do it" is what he believes. But yeah, he failed :v I won't say WY is the cause of the Jiangs demise and Jiang Yanli's dead, but let's be honest, he happened to be one of the main reason. He failed his past life and die to pay for that. Even WY said himself that he was naive back then. But I'd say he has never chose the wrong way, he just could not face agaist the whole world by himself. And JC, if you think about it, he has also searched for WY for 16 years like LZ, but in a much more aggressive way :v WY is his brother anyway. WY's secret has been revealed to JC by WN. But what about JC's? Will it ever be told to WY? They both quietly sacrificed a lot for each other.

Even Collin was thinking the same I remember, the way he was connecting dots by telepathy with Trish 🤣🤣🤣 But since both of them weren't really sure they were like "naah there's no way" "but why do I feel like it's him?" "maybe no" LOL Now you guys know By the way Eid Mubarak to all Muslims here 🐑🐑🐑

According to people, NO ONE survives the burial mound, no one comes out alive. Except of course, WY. So what happened is that when people are trapped in the burial mound, the resentment energy basically "eats-up" their cores, leading to their deaths. When WY was dropped at the burial mounds, there was no golden core to be "eaten-up" by the resentment energy, instead, the resentment energy replaced WY's golden core. Thus, WY have no choice but to cultivate it to survive. Another thing to note, during the Yiling Patriarch arch, LZ was learning new music for WY, and even LX was telling WY that they will help him return to the right path, which is practicing the sword. But WY can't. Him giving up the Stygian Tiger amulet at that time is basically giving up being a part of the cultivation world. Not only he can't protect the remaining Wens and be part of the Jiang clan, he can't be part of the world LZ is in. Lastly, it always gets me how WY is so selfless and just loves his siblings so much. He did not even hesitate to sacrifice for his brother. And what a genius WY is, I mean he doesn't have a golden core anymore but the whole cultivation world is quaking because of him. Thank you for your reaction, and I look forward to the Character song reactions which some were sang by the actors themselves, so that you can listen to their own voices. 😍

2024-06-16 12:59:16 +0000 UTCI've always wanted to say this for a long time and waited until Lan Zhan and Wei Wuxian's relationship progressed in order to say this, so I'll just say my observations: I find their relationship absolutely beautiful. Although the story is mainly portrayed as a bond between two gay men, the progression in both of the characters are quite different than most same-sex romance stories: Wei Wuxian never expected to fall for a man because he had no prior romantic, or emotional tendencies towards men, and his love for Lan Zhan only developed from their intense bond and shared experiences. Lan Zhan fell for Wei Wuxian because he admired Wei Wuxian's strong sense of justice, kindness, and unbreakable spirit, which matched Lan Zhan's own values, and made him feel a deep connection. And now look at them, they're escaping Lotus Cove together. Basically, they were brought together due to their genuine interests of each other's characters, not because of their gender, which makes me really love the author's portrayal in this.

I had the strongest urge to shake you by the shoulders through the screen to scream nooooo, lol😅 Why would he prevent Qin Su from revealing the truth in the frangrance hall, if he was going to reveal it through the women later anyway? Its someone else, thats why wei ying keeps wondering who this mysterious person is later, and isnt sure if they are a friend or foe to them ya know? watch his little chat with lan zhan when they are walking towards ancestral hall, thats what he was discussing. And yes, kids born from incestuous relationships have high chances of being born with problems (like body deformities, etc).

Up until now, we've already seen Lan Zhan and Wei Ying bow to Lan Yi in the Cold Cave in Cloud Recesses (an ancestor) and now to Wei Ying's adoptive family (parents). Now they only need to perform the last bow to each other and the ceremony is going to be complete! Your Honor, they're married!! 😭🤧 Also, WWX never stands up for himself and lets Jiang Cheng (and everyone else) slander him without trying to defend himself, but the moment JC dared to offend LZ... oh, the game was ON. WY said, "bring it on, mf, you're not going to be rude to the ppl I love, imma make you apologize". I love WWX so freaking much. Aaand here we have it, the cat is finally out of the bag. Soft-spoken Wen Ning, who's only ever been shy and timid, jumping in to protect WWX, even getting into a fight with JC, truly shows how loyal he is. The way he refused to back down even after being whipped several times, used his words like fists and beat JC down, was sooo badass. I love him so much ❤️ After all the verbal and physical abuse JC inflicted on his brother, it's quite satisfying to see him eating his own words now, after finding out the truth. The reveal and everyone's reactions definitely made me cry (in fact, im crying as im writing this). However, for me, JC's rage and disbelief kind of came across as partially selfish and kinda childish, like a kid who didn't get his way. Lan Zhan's quiet grief and sorrow, on the other hand, screams "The man that I love has been through so much and I had no idea, but my heart is breaking for him". If anything, he has now vowed to protect his WY even more fiercely. Also, this is only the second and last time we ever see Lan Zhan cry in the drama. 🥹 And of course, perhaps the strongest character in any drama I've ever watched: Wei Wuxian. He endured so much, yet he never complained, not even once. Not when he was hurt, not when he was wrongfully accused, not when he was in pain, physically or emotionally. Even when he was grieving for his Shijie, he once again refused to show it, saying he was "hungry". Always putting everyone else before himself, even at the price of his own life. And yes, he didn't have a lot of ppl supporting him, but the few around him are ready to die for him, just like he is for them. Ngl, it cracked me up tho how LZ was being extra gentle and was even willing to break the rules and STEAL for WWX and WWX was so confused, looking at WN like, "Wtf, are you seeing this rn??" 💀😭😭😭 Also, to lift everyone's spirits, every time I watch that scene of WWX laying on LZ's lap, I always remember the bts of Xiao Zhan complaining that his waist was gonna snap bc of how uncomfortable that position was 😂😂😂 Oh and Yibo was sooo proud of that crying scene, he kept talking abt it in interviews and showed to Xiao Zhan like "Look, Zhan-ge, see how that teardrop rolled down my face? That was beautiful, right?". So cute 🥹🫶 (I just gotta say tho, WWX fainting was the most beautiful and elegant faint I've ever seen in my entire life 🤧)

I just wanted to say that I think u guys should react to the soundtrack first before u react to the tik tok compilations. I mentioned this a while back and I don't know if u remember but I said the songs for each character basically explain their characters/story. So, I just think it's better to listen to the songs first, have a better understanding, and then watch the tt compilations because edits are usually pieces put together in a clip so I feel like by then you'll be able to click 2 and 2 together especially the character feelings u and us might have missed. Also, this is something I've been thinking about for a while but how are u guys going to read the ep 50 comments? Idk if you have thought about it or not but maybe u can read them in the same video u do the soundtrack reaction (maybe at the beginning 🤔). Lastly, this bit is for the editors. Can u pls include clips that have Mary On A Cross - Ghost, Angel's Like You - Miley Cryrus, and Love Story - Indila. I went back and watched their reactions to the untamed tt compilations and there were some clips that had these songs and I really enjoyed how the lyrics matched as well. Anyways, this is just a suggestion 😌
