2024-08-27 17:12:56 +0000 UTCBtw the beginning of the intro is in German. “Sie sind das Essen und wir sind die Jäger” is translated as “They’re the prey and we’re the hunters” but literally translated Essen means food, not prey. Although I’ve also read a couple times that it might be saying “Sind sie das Essen? Nein wir sind die Jäger!” or something like that which means “Are they the food/prey? No, we’re the hunters!”. Anyways Eren’s last name is Jaeger (or Jäger, it’s the same thing in German), it means hunter! The whole show setting is European with many German names lol, I’m German (and French) so I’m always like 👀
