Mrs. Rachel McConnal 1st aniversary + Xtra content plans

Remember this scene? Even it was the most indifferent release ever, with very little enthusiasm from most patrons, Mrs. Rachel 4.0 was a HUGE IMPROVEMENT for all games. The indifference was normal, as you got 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and even it was the best version by far, it lacked all the surprise and excitement of a new game. My best achievement with 4.0 was the "You won't get the same punishment twice". Instead of working on Spankfolio this week, I dedicated all my time to creating extra content like videos and GIFs, as I had mentioned when Bratwatch was launched that I would need 2 weeks. It'll take me half of the next week to create xtra content for the next 3 months. Then I'll be able to dedicate my full time to create Spankfolio, and, hopefully begin The Spankolyte, before I need to make more videos and GIFS.

(BTW, after watching the first 2 episodes of the brand new SW series, my hatred feelings towards the house of the mouse made me really, really motivated to create this spanking parody, as the poor writing, terrible casting and therefore, a very bad show, brought back the semi-toxic fan I am. LOL.)

My plans for this xtra content (videos and GIFS) will happen in 3 stages.

1. ALL existing games. My goal, besides open a video store, is to tell the Spankingverse story through videos. I want all my subscribers (if the Loyalfans, work, of course) to get the story even if they are not interested in the video games. And for long time patrons who already have played the games, it would be a way to review the best scenes which will be playable EVERYWHERE. Mobile tablet, PC, Mac....

This will take some time, probably the rest of the year. Recording is easy, but editing is another thing. I lost much time because of f.... premiere pro from Adobe. I had recorded a lot of videos, but the damn software was so amateur that didn't accept mkv, some files that a simple windows media player could read! So, after struggling to convert them, I preferred to record them again. Anyway, this week I mostly focused on Mrs. Rachel 4.0 and got only 2 outfits. It made me feel a bit proud that I could get very different and unpredictable spankings regardless of the interactions. I got about 40 min video of each outfit, all very different from each other.

2. Different versions of existing games. Depending on how the developing of games is going, I will make different versions from the existing games. For example, it could be Ms. Schumann detention with a very different outfit, a nude version of the Baywatchers, Mary Spankarvel instead of Superspanker, the possibilites are endless. The first will be a bikini version and nude version of Mrs. Rachel, that I'm going to render by the end of the month and will be a exclusive release for Siths and Master Jedis.

3. Xtra content NOT RELATED TO GAMES. This would be amazing, having some videos not related to the Spankingverse and with a different style and tone. However, I won't be able to do it unless I get enough income to hire someone. If loyalfans and stores don't work, this won't happen :(

This week for a retrospective will be helpful in many ways. Now I picture the spanking scenes in Spankfolio. It would be as flexible and unpredictable as Mrs. Rachel 4.0, with the quality of Bratwatch and with the tension of Brave Knight's detention. I want a close to perfect design before programming it. It will make work faster and more accurate.

On Monday-Wednesday, you're getting by DM June's package of videos and gifs. The higher the tier, the more content you get. Conditions to get xtra content: All patrons with an active membership, except the ones who have already cancelled for the next month.

Till next week!

Many thanks for the Gemma and Leia referrals! Yeah, I've found Renderhub to be hit or miss with their "famous" characters from movies, etc. And their prices border on the ridiculous at times. I wait for sales, if I can. No need to share Natalie, though.... thanks for offering, though! She's your creation. Heck, if you're like other content creators (which you're not, thank goodness) maybe you should start selling them yourself at exorbitant rates! I decided Face Transfer wasn't worth the hassle for all the work it involves. Great idea, but needs more work from what I've heard. And yeah, with celebrities, who's going to have a perfectly-posed picture like they want? I assume that you're seen the Daz forum devoted to celebrity look-alikes? As always, some are better than others, but they lists a few possibilities for Natalie out there....though you're well past that point. But just for the sake of any other Daz people out there, it's at: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/638911/celebrity-look-a-likes-for-3d-figures-part-4 .

Ha! I have to kind of laugh here, only because after I watched episode three I thought to myself that you were really going to HATE that episode! It was on the weak side, to be fair, though I didn't mind it all that much. Must be my old age....I'm more forgiving of things, I guess. Forbes just wrote a scathing review: https://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2024/06/11/the-acolyte-episode-3-review-the-worst-star-wars-episode-ever-made/ .

And I've just watched ep 3. I don't know if I want to cry, pull my hair, or laugh about it. I will perhaps just keep quiet and still and go to watch Apple's Dark Matter new episode :)

You can get Lady Gemma at Renderosity, just browse Emmeline. She's a G8. Princess Leia is at Renderhub, but it has to be the G9 version. Natalie Portman I used face transfer 2. There's one at Renderhub, but it was AWFUL, and I lost $20. You can get good results with face transfer 2. The big problem is that you need a passport/driver's license photo, with zero expression and perfectly centered. Otherwise, you may get a Quasimodo version... or a Joker version if the face is smiling. If you want, I can share them with you (Emmeline and Leia) as they are not from Daz official store.

HecMX

@Jason Voorhees, regarding James Earl Jones, definitely! And apparently Disney purchased rights from him to use AI so that they can use his voice in future projects.

First of all, my sincere apologies for potentially placing you were among "those" fans, since judging from your excellent response you clearly are not. And I TOTALLY agree with you regarding the light saber sequences with Reva and with Sabine. I was not a huge fan of the Ashoka series, overall, although I generally enjoyed watching it. (Cool to see Thrawn in live action!) Obi-Wan suffered from too much reliance on "The Volume," though I thought the acting from Ewan McGregor was top-notch. But yeah....that whole Reva sequence was just completely ridiculous at the end. Since when did getting stabbed by a light saber become the equivalent of Monty Python's "Tis but a scratch!"?!? But I'm sorry...I couldn't watch that YouTube link because I have my OWN toxic reaction to Star Wars Theory once I saw he was featured in it. When he gave Andor, episode 7 a response along the lines of "what did I just watch?" and a 1/10 rating, I unsubscribed to his channel and never came back. Sure, episode 7 was probably the weakest of the season and a "bridge" episode, but I didn't think ANY episode in that series was worthy of a response like that. I just got sick of his whining about that series, in general. He clearly did not enjoy it much in the early going whereas I re-watched the first three episodes alone three times while waiting for episode 4 to come out! So, yeah...I have my own issues. All Star Wars fans do, I guess. That's what happens with any large fan base where each one of us feels passionately about the project. BUT, moving on....I'm delighted to see you still developing games with the Star Wars characters in them! Would you be willing, when you get them out, to share your "secret sauce" of which Daz characters you used? I'm just curious. For that matter, I'd LOVE to know your source for the Lady Gemma model you use. There were several Daz creators out there who made Emma Watson look-alike models, but the problem I have with any of those so-called "celebrity look-alikes" is that while they may get the facial features semi-right, the bodies are off by a mile. Your Lady Gemma, on the other hand, seems to nail the body type, as well as the face. Perhaps you used some of your own morphs to sculpt her "just so." Anyway, just curious. If you don't choose to say, as always that's perfectly okay. I'm just happy to see you introducing some of these various popular characters into your spanking universe. I wouldn't mind being over the laps of any of them!

Ken L. Black

I am old school with episodes 4,5, and 6. Thank goodness they went with the voice of James Earl Jones vs David Prowse.

Jason Voorhees

The Acolyte is the new Star Wars polemic show in Disney Plus that is dividing the fan base. Ken and Darthbrat love it while I hate it :)

About SW. What makes hardcore fans more "toxic" are this kind of articles. I consider myself a hardcore fan, as SW was and is part of my life and dreams since I was 7 and watched the first movie. The racist, homophobic, mysoginist fans are a minority of the hardcore fan base. The problem is that most media accuse any fan who hates new SW shows for being racist, mysoginist and homophobic while the only claim is about the show's quality. I loved Leia, Padme and Rey, just as many hardcore fans. I don't care about a woman, a lesbian, or a trans to run a show. I'm also down for adding more female directors and roles. What I do care and demand is that Disney puts the best director, the best writer, the best actors and producers, regardless of race, gender, and sexual orientation. In the first 2 episodes I found too many issues that made the show a BIG UNINSPIRING MEH for me, because of poor directing, casting, and storytelling. Let's take for example the Master Jedi Venestra. It made me feel I was seeing a lady from Desperate Housewives put on some make up and turned into Grand Master Jedi and council leader. It happened because she is Leslie Headland's girlfriend, not because she's the best actor for the role. If she had put Carrie Ann Moss in that role, a super actress with a great presence and experience, it would have given the show a big boost. The biggest problem with the show for me is Mae. In part her char is not very good written and she's not a very good actress. Picture Zendaya in her place, and how she shined in Dune as a very powerful warrior and leader. With that kind of writing and acting, the show would be far better. I don't mean that I want her in the role, but at least a great afro-american new actress with Zendaya's potential to play as a badass warrior, or a simple girl in a comedy. They also had Dafne Keen (Sol's padawan) a great new actress experienced in sci fi (she was Wolverine girl in last Wolverine movie), who could have made a far better role. The thing is that I find Mae very uninspiring, like 10% of Leia, Padme, or Rey. If they needed an african-american girl, I bet there are tons of better actresses with the same apperance. As a hardcore fan, I'm far more picky than others. For example, in Obi Wan, Reva was pierced by a light saber twice by Vader and she didn't die. In Ashoka it happened with Sabine. They did it because Sabine is a beloved char that couldn't die, but they saved Reva, a new side meh character, just because they wanted to make a new show. And now, a ninja acolyte girl throws a little knife into a master jedi and she kills her instantly, a dagger far more effective than a light saber, and an acolyte far more effective than Darth Vader! I like the plot of a master mysterious sith giving his acolyte a mission to kill 4 jedis without a light saber. If I were the writer, I would have made it darker, with Mae using the force in a stealth mission to kill Trinity's Jedi. I bet a real talented director would have found something far better than a quasi ridiculous fight ninja vs jedi. I can continue and address other flaws, but this would turn in a long essay. If they had given the show to Bryce Dallas Howard instead, one of the best and experienced female directors in sci it would have been far better. I will continue watching the show till the end, and perhaps they make a plot twist that makes it great. Now it makes me sad that SW is dying fast. New generations don't care about it, the old fanbase, the ones who can introduce kids to SW, are leaving, while Disney doesn't care of making the best show they can with all their power and wealth. Soon they will find it unworthy and will put in the vault for something new and more profitable. And in the meanwhile, Dune, Foundation, and other Apple sci fi shows with a very diverse, inclusive cast are eating SW alive and making all the millions Disney is losing, just because they created far better stories. To end, I saw this video from a famous youtuber who represents most of SW hardcore fans (not toxic) and gives the best response to the article you linked. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfSSIvg0_18 The best is what the first guy says. Critical Drinker, I don't like the guy. Anyway, enough of my rant. If you like the show, it's great. We all have different tastes, and feel movies and stuff in a very different way, and have our own, unique opinions. However, I just needed to express myself. :)

HecMX

Ken...pardon my ignorance on the subject, as I have been busier than hell over the last month or so, but what is "The Acolyte?"

Jason Voorhees

Me too. I think it looks great! I've never had a bad time watching Star Wars! The whiny nazis just need to drink more bleach and drop dead faster! Who cares what they think?

darthbrat

Adobe Premiere never accepted MKV files, and I cannot for the life of me figure out why! It's ridiculous for such a (in their own mind...and title!) "premiere" video editing package. Really excited for all the videos and extra content that you're talking about adding. As I've said before, I'd hate to think I missed a hot scene only because I didn't choose something correctly and would have to start from scratch again in order to MAYBE find it. Whoa....I'm glad I didn't start a thread during the week to comment on how much I'm ENJOYING "The Acolyte" so far! I think the casting has been fine, overall. It won't affect my patronage here, but I hope you're not one who hates things like gay (IRL) female leads or showrunners, as this show has....on both counts. I have no issues with more women being in control of the SW universe. (After all, I'm a femdom lover!) I'll just wait on the sidelines regarding this one, I guess, but in the meantime allow me to direct you to a recent article from Inverse speaking about...well....the toxic Star Wars fans and this new show: https://www.inverse.com/entertainment/the-acolyte-star-wars-discourse-fandom . It's a shame the house of mouse has become so divisive, but let's not forget that Lucas himself was not quite as well-beloved as he was before when the prequels came out, which the "original trilogy" SW fans were all up in arms about at the time. And now? People seem to love them. Anyway, I'll just shut up about this; I've probably said too much already. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion; the dialog and casting hasn't bothered me as much as it has others, and SW seems to have had stilted dialog from Day One. Anyway, keep up the good work. Everything's looking great so far regarding your plans!
