Secret Golden Demon Project, update #5

Hi all!

It’s that time of the week again - Golden Demon update time!

This time we will be having a in-depth look at the base and finishing the miniatures.

I've finally tackled the task of painting the Sister - I was dreading this but I am quite happy with how she turned out.

Here are some shots from the process of painting the face:

I love a clean backpack!

Then I also decided to add a backpack for the Inquisitor, so I've added this symbol from the Adepta Sororitas Serphim kit.

I love putting additional details on minis as the devil is in the detail, as they say. That's why this book has also been added:

And here is the final look of the Inquisitor! He will also have a servo skull over his left shoulder, but that will be glued only once the whole piece is complete.

Oh and I almost forgot! I've added this freehand on the back of his cloak. It took me a good 3-4 hours but I think it was worth it. Please enjoy the process pics too.

I've decided to repaint the columns from the grey tone to a warmer, beige tone, as this is how the whole base will be painted.

Painted these little hanging monuments also.

I love to overcomplicate things... that's why I've made and painted some massive parchments that will be accompanying the banner.

And here is how the base looks so far! I've added some candles on the book stands and painted the massive columns on the sides. The rug will also get the weathering treatment. I am also planning to add some dust and rubble all over the floor. Of course, this is a calm scene, but as we all know, in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, there is only war.

That's it for this weeks update! Next time you will see this, it will probably be done!

I really hope you like these posts and find them informative.

Thank you for reading and supporting me!

Best wishes,

Mamikon

Thank you!

Thanks! Glad you like it. These are from the Adepta Sororitas transfer sheet

Mike

This looks amazing and I'm eager to see the end result! Good job and good luck!! On a separate note, where are the letters in the parchment from? I've looked at a lot of transfer sheets and I simply don't see any letters, only numbers and the figures.
