Recently, we’ve been focusing on redesigning the interiors—how they should feel, function in gameplay, and fit the overall vibe of the game. Our goal is to create spaces that feel alive and lived-in, striking a balance between messy realism and avoiding a junkyard look. These are homes, not abandoned ghost towns (even though, in the last demo, it literally was a ghost town—but we’ll show more about the apartment dwellers in future updates!).
The interiors aren’t just about visuals—they need to be engaging to explore and enhance gameplay. For instance, we’ve increased the ceiling height to at least 4 meters per floor. In real life, especially in post-Soviet regions, the standard is around 2.5-3 meters, but in first-person games, larger objects and spaces feel more natural.
We also took player movement into account, working hard to avoiding clunky and claustrophobic layouts.
A little bonus: we’ve included the color palette we’re using to unify the game’s overall look.
Stay tuned for more updates!
