This week's update!

Hey gang! Hope you had a fantastic weekend! So here's the rundown of this past week at ComicPOP:

I had a Batman: Damned #2 discussion planned, but didn't tell anyone to read the damn comic. So instead, we shot two Back Issues, back-to-back, with me performing Ultimate Spider-Man's continuation on the channel, and Tiff covering the recently-wrapped Witching Hour from JLDark!

See, we all had off that day, which gave us the unique opportunity to shoot from 2-9, instead of the usual 4-9. As such, we were able to really treat it like a production house, with breaks and chit chat and conferencing and planning. We have a new show coming up and we were able to dedicate like 20 minutes to just construction of the set. It was a blast, and incredibly productive (albeit, not video productive). But I'm cutting next week's Witching Hour episode now, while Ultimate Spidey is already up for Silver Age Patrons. So we've got a jump on next week! Hell, I was able to sit down while they filmed and actually re-read some titles during work hours to prep for next week.

Elseworlds continues this week with Joel, of course. No plans on the topic, but I'd like it to continue to be either heavier stuff, or at the very least more topical stuff. You guys seem to enjoy those, and it's great to get into the nitty gritty in front of a live audience!

We've got a couple of Letters Page episodes shot, so I'm hoping to burn through the backlog over the next week! At least LP has been coming out consistently the last 3 weeks, which is a step up!

So this upcoming week, because I was able to plan and talk directly with the team on site, we have a way more comprehensive approach. We're filming GBU on Thursday, for which the topic will be NINJAS! And for funsies, I picked two indie titles that feature ninjas HEAVILY. And an Elektra book. We will be prepped to talk about Batman Damned, as well, and I've got two Back Issues planned. Sadly, I doubt there'll be enough time for all those to get filmed, but we can try!

Finally, we're heading towards 75k subscribers, which is super awesome. As such, we're planning our big sub livestream, which based on everyone's schedules might not happen until March. I want the entire team there, and that's just how it's working out right now. No hard dates, but once we have it in stone, you'll be the next to know!

The rent went up this year (and actually I need to talk to the landlord about that; twice in one year really sucks), and we're finally comfortable in this space!
