This week's post-NYCC update!

Hi folks! We're back from NYCC and it was a doozy of a show. Not only did we drive to NYC all four days, we walked from Port Authority to the Javits Center all four days, and of course walked continuously from about 10-7 every day, on average. Yeeesh! Surprisingly enough, I'm not feeling nearly as exhausted as I expected, and I'm still keeping any germs I no doubt encountered at bay.

You no doubt noticed there was no Off the Rack this week. The reason is simple: I needed the day off. I hate missing it; it's live, it's an easier show to make, and I love talking to everyone and checking in. But we hadn't seen Joker yet and I think between Tiff and I, we read about three comics. Also I have to shoot Absolute Comics with Benny today, so I knew I was going to be filming literally all week, and I've got three interviews and a Back Issues to cut. But enough about that.

This week, we've got Elseworlds and we've got Back Issues ready to go! We're gonna probably go with Guy Gardner Reborn on Back Issues for two reasons: 1. I said it was next in New Frontier and 2. it needs to be out asap. Reason being, it's going to underperform. I know this already. It's such a fun episode, and my co-hosts do an outstanding job in it, and there's some hilariously memorable stuff in it, and half the audience will never know it because it's not a Spider-Man episode. I do these episodes as one part test and one part just refusal to admit we can't just make what we want whenever we want to. Gone are the days when subs just watched what the channel made just because they like the creative team. In any event, I hope you watch it. You'll like it. If you hate Guy Gardner, you'll love it. If you like Guy Gardner, you'll be happy he gets his moment in the sun. And if you don't know who Guy Gardner is, Lobo's in it. So check it out. Share it around.

We cleaned up the office a bit, got a few other areas set, and are currently making plans for a reboot of Harbor Patrol. I don't think I've told the team this yet, but I'm 90% certain we're going to try Harbor Patrol one more time, but in a slightly different format. Stay tuned!
