“My God, after I incapacitated the vile xeno, a pre-transport scan revealed a remat detonator implanted under the skin,” he reported. “As you ordered she be taken alive, if possible, I removed it on-site to allow her extraction by transporter.”
I had wanted to capture her myself, but Tyr had successfully pointed out that trying to capture an explosive expert was an unnecessary risk to my holy person when he could capture her for me. He could be rebuilt if destroyed by an explosion, while I could not.
“Good work, Tyr,” I complimented, my robotic bodyguard looking smug now.
