Hey everyone,

I hope you are well! Today I would like to talk about a problem in the sketching process. By this I mean creative work, whether in Processing, p5.js or other similar languages.

Maybe you know the problem: You want to experiment and sketch freely with code, but you don’t know how and where to put your sketches on your computer? This obstacle may already be secretly keeping you from really getting started.

In this video, I’ll show you how to create a foundation for your sketching process and set up a suitable folder structure.

Zach Liebermann once mentioned that he follows the principle of “always be iterating” and is constantly developing various sketches. This principle is the basis for my folder structure.
