Hello everyone! ☀️
Here in Paderborn the summer has finally arrived. However, I spend most of my time in my little office finishing my master thesis "Creative Coding as a School of Thought". I'm now in the final stage, fine-tuning the texts, next week i will start to do the translation work. It's really exhausting right now, but the light at the end of the tunnel is visible and soon I'll finally have that chunk worked away. I can't hardly wait! At the moment I'm not allowed to show anything publicly, but in July I'll post the project on my website.

DEMO-Festival: Open Call
As you may know, I'm on the DEMO Festival curatorial team this year and the Open Call runs until the end of June 2022. Just a quick reminder: the DEMO Festival features outstanding motion design work from around the world on 5000 outdoor displays over a 24-hour period in October. Everyone can participate and with me as curator, the topic of creative coding will get a very special focus this year. Be there and send us your work! There's a good chance it will be featured there!

Course-Development
I've been working on the Grid Systems course for the last few days. It will get top priority after I finish my master's degree. Once that course is done, it will probably be pretty quick to get "Form Follows Music" and "ASCII Adventures" done because they theoretically build on "Grid Systems".

Online-workshop at International Assembly
Starting Friday I'm giving a workshop at International Assembly and I'm totally happy that some of you will be there! For those who didn't catch it: I gave away tickets to the online workshop on Discord a few weeks ago. I will do it again in the future. The feedback to this video was really very good and I am very happy about that. Your messages showed me what makes my videos special: That I am open with my non-knowledge and that I show the process of getting from nothing to a creative result. I will be recording more of these sessions in the future.
