I noticed David's pronouns slipped in the second half of this chapter, which made me sad since you've been so good about it up to now.

Mikey definitely needs to invokve the right people, but with him struggling with it all himself and worrying about protecting the other victims, 'the right thing' isn't necessaruly that clear to him. Nicky has really come such a long way. I swear I feel like a proud dad sometimes lol. David disappointing you is a wonderful thing to hear! I like when characters are flawed and can make bad choices, so having someone like David (who can seem like a bit of a goody-goody) doing something so knowingly wrong just shows how good people can do bad things so easily. How will it play out though...time will tell! Gray has also made great progress. Having Nicky and so many other friends has really helped him to blossom. Maybe having his dad at the school will help to... or maybe not!? The teachers/ vs students game will be fun, however it plays out. Definitely a lot going on this chapter. My mind was clearly working overtime wiyth stories when I was writing it :D

The gaslighting makes it very delicate, so it needs to be handled by a professional. He should talk to Mr Rudd, who will then get Dr Archwright involved. It sucks that Mikey got hurt while simply trying to help people, and this may set back his schizophrenia progress. Although the circumstances of the Mikey thing sucked, it once again showed Nicky's mental health progress. Him screaming out at that guy would have been unthinkable a while ago. Nicky probably wouldn't have managed it if wasn't specifically his best friend and an attack on his schizophrenia, but it's still big. David is disappointing me, I thought he had made progress last year when he acknowledged what he did hurt his friends. But now he's thinking of setting up cameras again, although I acknowledge there's a chance he'll hold back and not do it. I don't care that it won't be on his friends this time, it still hurts people. He may need professional help in controlling these urges, but it's difficult when doing so would require him admitting to something so bad. I'm proud of Gray, that was good progress in his ability to be a dom without hiding behind anonymity. And not just with his boyfriend, he had two more friends, which could have heightened his insecurities. It was also fun to see Chris witness how submissive Nicky can get with Gray, and only Gray, a complete reversal from everything he knew about him. I'm intrigued to see how the year 11 vs teachers game will somehow contribute to Danny's getting with a new teacher dare. Danny's vice captain plan is a great idea. It's nice that you included some conversations about the boundaries couples set for involvement with other people. I want to see where Rob and Mikey's friendship getting closer in headed. And of course a managing position is perfect for David. There's a like a million things happening in each chapter, and this is definitely not a complaint. I think I hit the big ones and some of the others, but there will always be stuff I miss. But I probably end up talking about those another time.

2025-08-16 04:13:03 +0000 UTCI always figured David was going to be in charge of the Salon -- I did not realize that still had to be decided. Sounds like he will be in hog heaven. Wonder where David was when Gray appeared in his bed? I enthusiastically endorse Danny's decision to have other team members rotate through leadership positions. It seems like a win-win situation for all. Why am I suspicious that Clay Stone is going to be the teacher Danny gets with?

I really hope their budding romance eventually becomes Danny/Chris-like over time. Worried about David with the hidden camera thing. Perhaps this interaction with Tyler will lead to something more positive for him. I'm proud of Gray for putting himself out there by joining in with Chris and Danny. Those two may be decades ahead of most of the other Kingswood students in their sexual comfort zone, but they still care deeply about others.

But it ended backfiring because it didn't work out for them and they hurt him in the process. Now he should talk to either Mr Rudd or Dr Archwright about what he learned and how to approach it.
