The Circle of Starving Artists
Added 2017-05-17 23:58:48 +0000 UTCSometimes I joke that in Seattle, the same $50 will get passed in a circle of Starving Artists. With that in mind, I would like to share who the first $4 of every month's Patreon Payout goes to.
A few minutes ago I pledged to Sophie Labelle , who does Assigned Male comics. They were recently doxxed by Transphobic Nazis (Redundant, I know) and have lost their facebook page and are considering moving.
My very first Patreon was Robert Tritthard of Chance of DOOM and Writhe and Shine fame. He's local, he's in the goth community, he's just a good guy and I support his work.
Zach Weinersmith is someone I have followed for a long time with his comic, Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal.
I thought I was donating $1/month to Greg Scott Bailey but apparently I just 'follow' him and my dollar goes instead to Miles Grover who is a friend of mine.
