EMINEM - ENCORE/CURTAINS DOWN - PATREON REQUEST

🤣🤣 so glad I only paid $7

Matty Mccolgan

Please tell me I didn't pay $123 for one song, bro I don't see nothing else

Nathan B Hamlin

He only produced a couple of songs off slim shady lp and it isn’t diamond, mmlp and Eminem show are his 2 diamond albums

D

we still waiting on detox lol!

jorge ramos

This is called Encore because I really think em at the time thought this was his last album. I think he thought he was about to get killed from the beef shit and trouble with the government, plus his drug problem was getting bad and after the first 3 albums leading up to this one and his movie 8mile he pretty much did it all. Next album after this took like 7 years.

tgood

I kinda don’t want stevie to do this Album. Just a handful of songs. There are classics, same with relapse. Its hard listening to relapse straight thru cuz the accents do get tiredsome. When you listen to them here n there thru a mix playlist, it still shows amazing talent. Not as many bad songs at all, just gets a bit annoying.

Gary Raffa

I remember when this album dropped. Honestly I loved some of the songs but some of those songs were something I couldn't bump loud and proud....I tried : ) This album wasn't nothing like The Eminem Show dropping! but Em's creativity and rapping was and is what keeps Encore on my playlist

Michael C

I’m sure he’s heard that one but I’d like to see him react to the video as it’s funny af

Dre felt like he was at the pinnacle of success in the early 2000's, he had gotten Aftermath Records off the ground, produced Eminem's debut album "The Slim Shady LP" (which later went Diamond), his own second album "2001" (which went platinum, almost Diamond), Eminem's second album "The Marshall Mathers LP" (which went Diamond), and Xzibit's album "Restless" (which went Platinum). Despite all of this workload, he had spoke of releasing his third and "final" album, Detox, and there were high anticipations for this as the rumors of the features and tracks circulated. After years of rumors and leaks, Dre decided not to release the album at all right when everyone was expecting the release. Because of this, Dre was catching a lot of heat from hip hop fans and media. All of Aftermath never understood this because look at what Dre brought to the game and you gonna sit there and try to discredit this man over one album you didn't get. GTFOH. So this song was just taunting all of those people.

Jason Aherron

One can't skip The Eminem Show.

Mister eX

This was a request. I'm sure he'll do eminem show soon

Dylan Beschoner

I don't agree with this. It's certainly his silliest album. But the rhyme schemes are great and it's a lot of fun

Dylan Beschoner

Are you skipping the Eminem show album ?

Micah

Not Afraid or Survival!

Szymon Frąckowiak

React to Eminem headlights,

Tre

Youre going to love the eminem show when you get to it ✌✌

James Senz

This was also continued response to some shit Jermaine Dupri said back in 2001/2002... He basically said Dre/Timabaland styles ain’t how hip-hop is evolving... Em/Dre buried JD already with “Say what you say”. This was just rubbing it in JD face and also making sure everyone else in the game knows what’s up

cr!t!c

There was a hidden skit after this song also with ken if I remember correctly

Shaun Morris

Em was entering the heaviest of his drug using around this time.

Chris

Right for me - eminem

Miguel B

do Eminem - forgot about dreee

Joe Asfour

The Eminem show is like the apex of Eminem’s old school rapping abilities and then encore he was on too many drugs to give a fuck about ‘rap’ rapping. Still a dope album though imo.

Tom McGlen

Petron ppl thta make the resquest... send him the tracks that are not on Em's oficial albums, since he will be reacting to the albums.... damn he still has a lot to react biside the albums The Re-Up / Shady XV / Southpaw and Em Ft. u.u

At this point, I’m not requesting any Eminem from Stevie because if he can keep doing the Album Reviews on Tier 3, I’d rather see them that way. You forget how much music Eminem has until you see a reactor dive in heavy. Wild.

Spat

lol some of these Tier 4 requests have been bizarre.

Spat

This is from the album Encore (and titled encore obviously) So technically this was the final album of the trio. And around this time the drugs, fame, shows, etc. were really getting to Em.

Jeremy

This is the most random request ever lol

Jasper

Be aware that this is one of his weakest albums with a few exceptions. I'm honestly more excited for you to check out songs from Relapse

Rama Djuhana

Can't wait til you listen to this one after you make your way through the Encore Album

Dylan Beschoner

First you have to do right for me after doing fine line and Vegas second this is one of the last songs on Encore, Eminem’s last album before he took a long hiatus and dropped relapse Years later, like he said “Encore I was on drugs, relapse I was flushing them out” he was falling down a bad path of drug abuse, so the part in the beginning might be a reference to him subconsciously realizing that.. or just me looking too much into it lol

William Bolen

People were talking smack about Dre retiring just cause he was producing more then making music...the bc Em didn't drop an album for a year people were speculating he was done due to the personal issues going on in his life hence Encore

Mike Ackerman

You have to react to Big Pun- Beware . It's fire 🔥🔥

Mohammad Haboubi

This is when the drugs were bad..Em overdosed in 2007. At the time, there were rumors that this was going to be his last album, so that's where the theme comes from
