I feel you when you say you didn't really like "whats the use of feeling, blue" I felt so too in the beginning but I listened to it so many times now that it grew on me like crazy and now I know the text by heart and am really happy every time it comes up in my playlist. I think it's super underrated and would highly recommend listening to it a few more times when you have a quiet moment to yourself.

2022-08-16 21:33:35 +0000 UTCThe only reason why yellow diamond wants the earth destroyed/so focused on the cluster is due to pink diamond’s shattering. Had she never been shattered, the earth would just be another colony. After the shattering, blue diamond is overwhelmed with the loss and wants to preserve her memory, while yellow wants to ignore the pain of the loss and move on, which means destroying the earth so it’s not a reminder of pink’s shattering
