yep she may look like an earth pony but we all know she's an alicorn using her magic to hide the truth lol.

2023-04-08 16:03:44 +0000 UTCI agree while it isn't the end of the world for a reactor to not see the original episode I think it does help sell the hype of the character that was censored and could paint a bigger picture why she is so popular later in the show.

2023-04-08 15:59:02 +0000 UTCI don't know if I'd call this a necessarily 'must-see' moment given that it's something you had to be there for and part of the fandom at the time to really get excited about, and even if it was he could just look up the original clip after, it's not like it changes the entire episode or something.

2023-04-03 11:11:52 +0000 UTCI always noticed in the first two episodes after the premier Twilight always seemed to receive no respect. First with the tickets, then with having her speech interrupted all the time.

2023-04-02 22:46:59 +0000 UTCTo avoid spoilers: it was the episode where a fan-favorite background character got to speak, and was referred to by her fan-given name. The censored version changed her voice and removed her name.

2023-04-02 13:54:00 +0000 UTCOne episode you *shouldn't* watch on Netflix is season 2 episode 14. Netflix has the censored version, and the original version is a must-see.

2023-04-02 13:36:58 +0000 UTCAnother show that was on the Hub, and had a fanbase that mingled with MLP- was 'Dan Vs.'. It's actually a pretty funny and clever cartoon, mildy edgy but still good enough to show kids. There was a popular ad bumper that crossed over the 2 shows for a few seconds. I'd say it's worth watching/reacting to. You should check it out.

2023-04-02 05:18:36 +0000 UTCFor reference, Earth ponies have earth magic (just like unicorns have generalized magic i.e. ability to learn spells that they can channel through their horns, and pegasi have pegasi magic such as flying even though their wings are technically disproportionate to their bodies, and controlling weather/walking on clouds etc). Earth ponies can grow crops better, have a unique relationship with the earth and plants and they also have increased strength. So yeah, Twilight may be able to harvest the crops quickly, but wouldn't be nearly as adept at growing them and maintaining them. Also, "never question Pinkie Pie" is a saying in the fandom for a good reason. Her Earth pony magic is... different. I don't think that's really a spoiler since as you could see, sometimes she breaks the fourth wall- for example, how she was "floating", or rather, hanging off the top of the "screen".

2023-04-02 03:25:18 +0000 UTCThere will be some storyline consistency in season 1. But you will notice when DHX and Hasbro becomes more aware of the audience/Fandom and start telling better story's with consistency.
