Listen to the song or read the lyrics but it's clear as day. Each verse talks about a certain time frame. Not recovery as a whole.. But the song itself... As a standalone track. It helps if you just look at the lyrics.

I may be wrong but I like the fact I might be because it’s just another thing EM has me thinking about 🤣

But since it's the recovery album and he speaks about being sober and the OD in a bunch of tracks, that makes way more sense to me to be talking about his battle with addiction.

Apparently he was talking about an album dropping with Eminem that would show the world lyricism and wordplay like never before seen. Again I don’t personally know as I have never found anything myself. But. Mean going by timeline that interview orwhatever would have needed to be very early 2006 or in late 2005 I would guess. It could have just been a joke or something on his but however I certainly wish it wasn't. If such a project is tucked away somewhere I would love to hear it. But yeah I guess only Em knows. So what he is saying is his rhymes some he wrote on a napkin, some he thought of and some he wrote on his hand. It goes back to the previous line of him being strapped with a pen. He is saying that no matter what his arsenal is always loaded. The lost thing he is referring to is the fact that this came out after relapse. And a CD was canceled, relapse 2 which just ended up being a bonus disk with a few select songs, because of the straight back lash he got from Relapse. This was also after a fairly long hiatus where he was out of the game. So he is saying in a lot of recovery songs that he still has it, Talking 2 Myself is another one I highly recommend. This whole album was about him refinding his voice in rap. Where he felt like he lost it after his drug abuse and this was him stepping up and reminding himself he’s still the shit. I regret that you found On Fire the way you did. To me that song is just him working out his pen. First song on Recovery, or one of the first and he grows through the album but he has a lot of shit on his mind.

I just saw your reaction to Buffalo Bill which was on the relapse album before this one when he was high all the time so you can get a good comparison of his mental state with those albums Stevie. I myself was introduced to rap about 15 years ago by Eminem and and loved it since I am 27 now. I was told by a close friend of mine about 10 years or so ago that Eminem has a full album recorded with him and proof on every song that has never been released. From what I hear said album is a masterpiece however since Proof passed away Eminem did not feel right to release it. Does anyone know if this is true?
