This video hit me hard (maybe because of the loss of the baby after have 2 stillborn of my own) I think the moral of the story is that no matter where you are in life poor or rich or in-between we all go through really tough things in our lives and you don't know. So the family with no money who wanted something for their son for Christmas robbed a house of a rich family not knowing that they just lost a baby just before Christmas and then the suicidal cop who lost his family and is drinking responds. The song to me is the battle of life and the battle of suicide. I tried to commit suicide not that long ago actually was in the hospital for quite some time. Not to get to personal but I have a terminal rare lung disease, I need a double lung transplant. I am on home oxygen. I just turned 50 this year and I am angry and sad at the same time. Stuck at home on oxygen. Maybe because of my circumstances it just hit me different. The song more than the video but I still loved it all, the creativity to tie 3 families together.
