I've listened to her music and she's super talented but overlooked because her style is more Folk Rock or recent more dark and mellow. This video is not her style. Her parents are Folk singers and she was raised in the Folk Festival scene. When she made this song she was interviewed and said she just wanted to try something different from her usual style and have a little fun. They both have 'trailer' roots, hence the video and just let the goofy side out. The whole thing came together in a day! Skylar has been a ghostwriter for MANY big Pop names and gets asked all the time if they'd dated... on IG she simply stated: "The only thing that man gave me was respect, opportunities and humor, PERIOD". I believe that cuz they have closely worked together for years and he financed her boyfriend's expenses on the tours, plus she is younger and Em always stayed away from the young ones as he aged.

2021-07-22 10:15:52 +0000 UTCI love this song and some people get sick of em and skylar but she's got a beautiful singing voice and she rap as well Also she's loyal to em because she wasn't always skylar grey her name was holly brook and 1st album was totally different it was a pop indie rock album and that floped in 2008 and wb records dropped her and in the time she was writing songs for others until 2010/11 she wrote a song for em and with him called love the way you lie the song with Rihanna and that became huge succes so kept working with her and signed her to interscope records and told her to be Rembrandt and in 2013 we got her 1st skylar grey album don't look down and now she said Marshall was her Dr Dre that's why she's with him all the time now

That's why she was sabotaging them in the tanning bed and giving them weird plastic surgery; and then the dudes still thought they were great looking. Just my 2 cents.
