That's the devil and Slim Shady trying to get back into Eminem's life and in this album I do believe this is when he became completely sober that's the funny part and he talks about call DISH stuff but this Cadence I never heard another song like this ever and my favorite song by Eminem his best friend but this Cadence is unbelievable put this up against any artist I don't care if they are not going to win.

If you notice, the "thug" or "gangsta" rap that Eminem did during the Shady Aftermath/G-Unit, 50 Cent era is not really on this album. Me, personally, this is him slowly transitioning to the fast/multisyllable rap that you hear from him today. Especially on the next album Recovery. That on that album, you can see he changed a lot by what he was rapping about and how he went about things. Relapse will give you some answers on what he went through and recovery will will pick up the pieces as far as explaining everything. If you can, try to remember or make a not to when you get to the song "Underground" when he talks about at the beginning where he's been the last 4 years. Also a side note too, this is when he ditched the blonde hair and went back to his natural color after always dyeing it since 98.

So this drop was huge, n I think the only reason y it may of gotten some negative feedback is because its soo different. Going 5 years with no em n than he comes back n kinda drops a concept album. So even ppl back then were already say we want old EM! Just like with revival/kamikaze, Em dropped Recovery right away to try n please the haters who cried over relapse. It worked. Its more of a poppy album compared to the dark themes n rhyme structures of relapse. He got big features n created some of his most popular songs on Recovery. Its the album where he truly starts to bar hard. It was Em on the Top again. Not afraid, love the way you lie was everywhere!

But putting aside the subject matter, what he does technically over all those perfectly produced Dre beats is something that should go down in history. I fucking hate Insane though 😂 Also, Hello is arguably the most underrated Em song imo
