Fun goes on vacation and feels a little torn on something
Added 2019-08-09 23:27:19 +0000 UTCLong story short: I am going to Amsterdam. This is a trip that has been planned for basically the entire year now. I'll be gone from Monday to Friday(ish) and I initially said that I wouldn't be posting chapters the week in which I am gone.
Well, now we're just coming off a relatively long arch-hiatus. I didn't plan for this properly and I am not really comfortable with stopping to release chapters for another weeks so quickly after the last break.
At the same time, aside from this hiatuses (In which I still post other stories at this point) this week and Christmas are my only vacation times and with the next arc currently hanging at ~69k words, with the end nowhere in sight, it's going to be a while until my next regular break. It's not like I am anywhere close to overworking myself, but I think I should observe my time off out of principle...
My problem now is that I can't really decide whether or not to post chapters while I am going/ post all the chapters I should have when I come back (Depending on the internet availability) or just... don't do that and just be on vacation as initially planned.
I'm going to put it to you, the audience, to solve my dilemma. Do you think the recent break has been too long already and you shouldn't have to wait anymore (A valid position to have, you pay me after all)? Or are you fine with yet another week without content (All content in this case, from Gamer to Drip-Fed)?
I'll look at this on Sunday afternoon and decide what to do then.

To be more exact I COULDN'T plan it properly. Its not like I can make an accurate outline for how long every arc is going to be. Estimates also don't work several months into the future. I think I might have an idea how to handle this now, but I am going to muel it over until tomorrow some more.

In that case, using some of your reserves to keep the planned schedule would make sense, as you value the expectations you have set with your audience. The harsh truth is it doesn't matter how often you release, if you change it unexpectedly you can throw your audience off. "The show must go on" and all that. If you can't make it work, then you can always take a break later, at a logical intermission point. That said, its not going to affect my patronage of you either way.
