Poll Result for The Edge Of – DE, and new poll: Which of those three options is most appealing to you?

Before anything, I want to clarify. I'm just a bit confused. A lot of people voted for the animated scenes, and I was just wondering whether those people understood that animated sex scenes were already something I was going to do. The animated scenes option was for non-sexual/less important scenes.

If the majority knew that fact, then that's fine. It's just that I'm genuinely surprised by the results. Right now, the top four options are:

1 – Animated scenes (for non-sexual/less important scenes)

2 – Animated sprites

3 – Voice acting (Japanese)

4 – New Sprites (Drawn by the new artist for The Edge Of)

Unfortunately, I can't do all of those things. So I'm going to give you the chance to vote on which combination you guys like best. Three of those things are a bit too expensive to be matched together, let's say. So the options are pretty straightforward:

Option 1

Animated scenes (for non-sexual/less important scenes) + Animated sprites

Option 2

Voice acting (Japanese) + Animated sprites

Option 3

New Sprites + Animated sprites

I would have liked to be able to do more, and I might if/when the first version gets released on Steam Early Access and I can better assess my budget. But as of right now, this will have to do.

Do keep in mind that option 3, in particular, could push back the release of the first version by a month or two because my artist would need time to draw all four characters.

Although, if for a lot of people, new sprites are important, I would need to know. It would be quite unfortunate to animate the old sprites only for people to really want to see new ones.

In any case, this is kind of confusing to me. I want this to be enough of an upgrade to make it worth it. Hopefully, we can easily change course if I somehow am misaligning my aim.
