Bev! Oh my gosh. Are we best friends!? haha I am on song two and you've got me again. I watch every video you have, and I rarely comment (apologies) but only because I am more of a in the moment person, not frequent on social media. Rather than putting my thoughts and feelings into words or comments, I admire your videos as a silent fan. But, you took the thoughts out of my head. I am a Swiftie and enjoy every moment of your genuine shock and love for Taylor Swift every time you listen to her. I am here for Selena Gomez because I love her spirit. Her music has its beautiful moments, and she is all around a beautiful human. I feel her pain, and growth through theses songs and it's so moving. I have not listened to these albums yet so we are flowing through this one together. But song TWO has me wanting to just to tell you you are amazing! My love for Tswift goes beyond her music. I often joke that she is my long distance best friend, and her songs are her keeping me up to date on her life. Your reactions have officially put you in our large and very distant, amazing friend group lol. Selena Gomez, being one of Taylors best friends in real life. We are all here ready for this reaction video! Love this so much. Welcome to the best and most passionate group of friends you'll ever find. It sounds hysterical when I type this out but it is so god damn true. Love ya Bev! Keep killing it, I'm here for the long hall.

Aww, I miss Delena :(

I just joined Patreon today and have been binge watching your videos all day! Absolutely love them! I did hear you say in one of your videos that you spoke spanish so her newest EP 'Revelacion' I think would be amazing for you to check out! And I also do agree with the other comments on this video. Her droplet era is ICONIC so definitely recommend moving towards Revelcaion and the songs listed above for new Selena content! Can't wait! :D

Separating the singles from the earlier era makes a lot of sense thanks Amanda!

Michael Beveraggi

Thank you Xene! I’m sure it’ll all change a bit knowing me though 😅. Also justice for Psyduck! Thank you for pointing that out!!

Michael Beveraggi

I completely agree about the last 3 tracks Jared

Michael Beveraggi

I’ll make sure to add cologne when I do the droplets :)

Michael Beveraggi

I can’t stop whistling that part Storm 😭

Michael Beveraggi

Not done with The Weeknd I promise you!

Love you reacting to Selena!! I went to her stadium tour for this album and it was absolutely AMAZING I feel like a lot of people don't realize how good of a performer she is. Some of those songs that aren't that great on the album like Rise, Body Heat, Revival, were actually great live because they framed her set list really well. But anyway, you should definitely check out her latest Spanish EP, Revelación that came out in March! It's so so good

Yess I loved your reaction to this album. Definitely one of my favorites. Me & The Rhythm, I think is my favorite song on this album. I think when it comes to her earlier stuff as Selena & The Scene, you should check out the album "For You" that she did to fulfill her contract with Hollywood Records because that album mostly has her #1 songs from her Disney albums, and I think those are the only ones you need to really check out from that era. She did mix a few of them on that album so you might want to check out the originals after listening to the "For You" album and she added a couple new songs, "The Heart Wants What It Wants," "Do It," and I believe a couple covers as well. So, definitely, if you want to check out her songs from when she was Selena & The Scene, I would recommend to do the "For You" album. I find it interesting that you mentioned Demi Lovato. They were actually best friends once upon a time and both were on Barney together. Ok, not the point of this comment LOL. But I always found that Selena & Demi were the Britney & Christina of now. Like how Britney did more of pop dance stuff with a few ballads in her lower register while Christina was known for her vocals. And that's how Selena and Demi are. Selena is known for her pop dance songs while Demi is known for her vocals. And both pairs got their start on Disney. I don't know if it's a Disney thing but I just found it interesting and always thought that. It also seemed Britney & Selena's songs/albums always charted better than Christina & Demi's songs/albums. I feel like it has to do with their personalities and relationships with their fans. Not saying Christina & Demi don't have that, too. I just think Britney & Selena relate and connect better to their fans which I actually would LOVE for you to check out some of Selena's interviews and acceptance speeches because they're always so real and raw, and relatable especially when it came to her health and love of her fans.

Selena is one of my favorite artists to listen to! In terms of other songs of hers that would be great to listen to are: 1. We Don't Talk Anymore 2. Wolves 3. It Ain't Me 4. Back To You 5. Bad Liar 6. Fetish 7. Taki Taki!

Those lyrics in the chorus of Nobody that you weren’t sure about are actually “nobody’s ever lead me to the Truth.” She’s a Christian, and the song is about God and / or Jesus—if you go back and listen to it again, the lyric choices will make a lot more sense.

In terms of the albums from when she was with Hollywood Records through disney I would only check out a song called "The Heart Wants What It Wants" it has a music video and was released at the end of her contract on a compilation album, For You. The music from that time like her first solo album Stars Dance (electropop, dance heavy dubstep) does not really have a lot of substance and she didn't have a ton of say in how she wanted the album direction to go much less on her other albums billed Selena Gomez & The Scene where she was still a kid on the Disney Channel and was basically just given a bunch of songs to record if she liked them and just for them to make money off of her. Don't get me wrong some songs do have substance but there just isn't much of anything actually about Selena as a person that she was involved in cause it was all about pushing out a record every year just for her fans to enjoy. I would say another older song by hers you could check out the music video for is called Who Says which is an empowerment anthem.

Love seeing you react to Selena!! I'd say you should do the songs from her droplet era next!! here's a list: It Ain't Me, Bad Liar, Fetish, Wolves, Back to You, Taki Taki, I Can't Get Enough I would also include I Want You To Know with Zedd As far as her earlier albums and disney stuff, idk how you'd feel about the projects as a whole, but I would recommend taking a look at her more popular/iconic singles from those eras such as Naturally, Who Says, A Year Without Rain, Hit the Lights, Slow Down, Come and Get It, and The Heart Wants What It Wants :)

Amanda

most notable droplets: the heart wants what it wants bad liar fetish wolves all iconic. plus some of her unreleased songs are top tier. stained, praise you, higher or heaven, wild love are so good.

Samantha

I dont have anything to add about the album, but I just wanna say, your bookshelf set up looks really nice!! And the gang up there looks fantastic and cozy!! Poor psyduck being covered by the spotify screen tho hehe

Xene

Yeah, he missed cologne. I bet he wouldve loved that one.

Xene

Definitely my favorite album of hers as a whole. The singles were amazing, and they were everywhere back then on the radio, in stores, in restaurants, so I'm not surprised you'd heard them. Sober is my favorite and I still listen to it regularly to this day. She also has a slowed down piano ballad version of Kill Em With Kindness you might be interested in. As for the track list, it was the same as the standard version and it ended at Rise. Which I was always fascinated by because those last three songs are better than a couple of the standard tracks in my opinion.

Jared

yeah idk how you’d like her other albums, I’d say react to Revelación and her droplet era next instead!

Allison V

Please react to her new EP (which is in Spanish) called Revelación 🦋🥰

Katie Taylor

Selena actually has a whole EP in Spanish and on her albums "Year Without Rain" and "When The Sun Goes Down" she has Spanish versions of 2 songs.

Briana Jaffe

Body heat really is such an odd song but low key it can be a bop if your in the mood?? It's kinda funny... also you missed a track called cologne? It's definitely on the deluxe on Spotify when I look so I'm confused lol but check it out if you can find it cos ITS SO DAMN GOOD. also she was IN HER MOMENT with this album it had sooo much playability on TV on Disney and radio! I knew you would love it!

Emily Hopkins

Honestly nobody can blame you for knowing those songs! I would have been suspicious if you said you didn’t 😂 They were basically unavoidable. But because of that I kind of forgot how good they all are! That whistle in Kill Em With Kindness… 💃🏽

Storm

Still waiting for Beauty Behind The Madness!

Fern Silverman

They’re there at the end :)

Michael Beveraggi

You missed the 2 best songs on the album (perfect, nobody). They’re on the deluxe :((
