2024-05-08 22:44:18 +0000 UTCJust wait till you dive in visually. Like mv’s and performances. They give their all into that as well as lyrics and vocals. I also like to look at the word ‘ruin’ as ‘spoil’ in pied piper. And mic drop has its own era. 💜 Thanks for loving our boys.

2021-12-28 13:47:54 +0000 UTCIt’s really interesting to see your perspective on this album because for me this is definitely my least favourite album from them. It’s the only album that has more skips than listens. Outro her is the only song I’m in love with(also sea but I didn’t check it out at the time I was so over the album) this album made me fall out of the fandom for a while which is really sad because I really like tear and I wasn’t around for that☹️

2021-11-02 06:03:16 +0000 UTCOh I hadn't realised you posted this I'd been waiting!!! I'm glad you decided to do them individually in order, because as a trilogy they havean over-arching narrative/theme but individually they have self-contained concepts/parts/phases of that overall arc. Her is the beginning one that focuses on the positives and honeymoon-phase type feelings that come with relationships. It can be interpreted as a romantic one sure but also as the relationship BTS have with fans. Pied Piper in particular is a very clear and direct example of them talking to fans saying yes they're tempting and fun to be obsessed with following but that can be dangerous of we, as fans, especially young ones with exams and school etc to worry about, do that to the exclusion of all else. We could ruin our own lives if we get too obsessed and neglect other parts of our lives and that's them essentially warning and calling us out, all while playing the part of the "Pied Piper" from the old children's story, i.e. the character who led all the children away from their homes and safety with entrancing and tempting music =P Tear is the, as you've guessed, dark side of love and relationships, and specifically, yes, that includes that dark sides to having the kind of relationship they do with their fans, including bandwagon/fake fans and having to put on "masks" aka brave faces and positive and pretending they're okay when actually they're not, just for our sake. I won't say more than that but I'm excited to see your reaction to that. In particular, I want to point out, because it's not instinctive to interpret it that way, Suga has specifically said that Tear was written about BTS' relationship as a group. It was at/for/about the members. I won't say more than that. Also as a tip, the lyrics videos are never gonna be that great because they rush to get them out ASAP to get high views on release. A lot of them at the start for example kept incorrectly and aritrarily labelling certain lines as being sung by JK when they just weren't. To be honest if you're struggling to get lyrics, the official channels are amazing at doing official, well translated, accurate lyrics, including MVs. The best lyric MV, in that sense, for DNA is actually just straight up the DNA MV. Considering all of the above; don't take who sung what line as gospel from the videos if it doesn't seem right (though yes JK HAS rapped in their beginning hehe), and even if you use them and not MVs as first impression encounters with the lyrics, I recommend making sure doolset is open for cross-referencing/checking anyway as the most accurate and nuanced translation. Some song in particular really NEED a Korean perspective explanation or else pretty much all of the sheer genius is completely lost, e.g. Ddaeng (from their soundcloud is widely regarded as one of raplines BEST and most intelligent pieces both musically and lyrically, but it's almost ENTIRELY non-understandable just reading translated lyrics. For these kinds of situations there's a channel on youtube that explain e.g. dkdktv explained by a Korean is particularly amazing for Ddaeng and some other songs. As a sidenote about this album specifically, mic drop has a steve aoki remix which became far more well known than the Korean original which has an MV. Also, Go go is a very fun dance/performance type song haha =P More generally, all of their albums tend to open/have teasers and trailers that feature a member's solo and have done for a long time, outside of just solo-songs on some albums. This album it was Jimin, for MotS is was Persona - RM, 7 - Suga, etc. All members open an album with a solo at some point, and the openings are generally something of a summary of the concept/theme/vibe that the album will explore more generally. So of course, serendipity, is first and foremost a love song, definite in it's surety and only seeing the positives of just being in love and happy with someone. There's a HINT of hey-wait-be-careful that creeps in, in Pied Piper, but by the end of the album, especially in the Outro: Her, there's the hints of the concept of the next phase/album creeping in as it closes out, of the negatives/pain/downsides to such love (i.e. the talk of masks and having to hide the true self for the sake of this beautiful, amazing love). As such it connects beautifully from one album/phase/part of the Love Yourself series to the next =) Anyway I rambled too much again I'll leave sorry T_T Super looking forward to the next BTS content! =D

2021-10-15 04:53:25 +0000 UTC(Lol, I accidentally deleted my earlier comment.) So I didn’t notice any comments talking about the line “I’m your tricolored/Calico cat” in Serendipity so here’s some info. Male Calico cats are very rare, so Jimin is again saying that this love was destined.

2021-10-15 04:50:19 +0000 UTCIt's honestly the perfect representation of this album in one song. I was talking with my freind about it the other day. Its loving someone so much that its desperate. The perfect first step to losing sight of who you are and your self worth. Ugh. So. Good.

2021-10-13 04:40:18 +0000 UTCand you could kind of do a special butter on the channel hahhaha. the music, the mv, the live billboard music awards performance, and the special performance video feat megan stallion… man that would make me so happy hahahaha

2021-10-11 22:47:59 +0000 UTCin case you don't know, bts universe is a fictional story told within the mvs where the boys are characters. Each mv adds elements to this story. In addition, there are books and notes to better understand the context. I suggest reading only after watching the mvs

2021-10-11 22:31:37 +0000 UTCOh and film out is written and produced by JK :) this is a clip that is inside the bts universe. by the way, when you react to the MVs I really suggest that instead of going in the order of the albums, you go in the order of the story of the BU, not all of them are part of it, so it would be more interesting that way… just search the list. then you can react to the remaining clips that are not part of it.

2021-10-11 00:25:17 +0000 UTCI really appreciate that you find the same attraction to BTS that I do, their lyricism is amazing. so much encouragement, hope, and comfort with a side dose of "You can't knock me down." Flowers in particular were/are a big part of the Bangtan Universe [BU] All the stories are connected not just song to song on any given album, but also album to album within the era and even a bit of cross-era story and world building. Ah yes, Rapper Jungkook. Wait until you get him in the first couple of albums 😁#BringBackRapperJK All of ARMY struggling to learn Korean so we can sing along correctly. You are not alone in this. I tried to say that I agreed with you about V, but now I can hear each of them so clearly, that their unique tones and flavors are crystal clear to me. I think that back when I was baby ARMY, I felt the same way, but now I can pick them out readily and each is just perfect to me. -dies laughing- Pied Piper is BTS throwing ARMY under the bus for ignoring RL and being focused upon them instead. That was the first time they won a BBMA Mic Drop is such a flex. 😁 Listening to the Cyphers, Ddeang, Mic Drop and Idol back to back tells its own story. I really love that you found something to like about Go-Go, you gave me a lyric to think on as well, since even reading the lyrics I usually just bop along. Yolo yolo yo Wait to you hear Outro: Tear, you'll be knocked off y'r feet. thank you for this review of the album. I'm sailing through the day now. I love listening to you pull apart lyrics in slightly different ways than I've come to know. It's both and a rhyme as well. I can't wait to hear your thoughts! Now that you've acknowledged you are going backwards, I wonder how the music will impact you if, once you reach the beginning, you go back in the order of release. Not asking for a new set of reactions, but perhaps a follow-up thought. :) It is interesting going backward with you. Peace.

2021-10-10 22:37:54 +0000 UTCThis performance was also the last ever live performance in front of Army's before the pandemic, so they haven't performed in person since. They went out with a bang tho

2021-10-10 18:03:46 +0000 UTCoh my god I love you bts reactions and just your reactions in general, I find your thoughts so interesting, please keep going on with bts! I'm excited for you and that says a lot I think. Can I recommend that you do the MMA 2019 full performance? that was the first ever live bts performance that I watched and just wow, it's my favourite ever live performance from any artist.

2021-10-10 18:01:21 +0000 UTCBecause I haven't listened to the full albums while reading the English translations, I am learning so much along with you, and I really appreciate your reactions. Had to laugh out loud as you were trying to process during Pied Piper, because it is definitely written for ARMY (can confirm they took over me within months once I started really listening and watching). Not sure if you'll be interested at some point watching performances, but the songs on this album have iconic choreographies that reflect those emotions in the songs--Serendipity, Mic Drop, and Dimple are some of my favorites. Looking forward to your reaction of Tear, because I want to feel along with you! There are a few songs that really hit me hard on that one.

2021-10-10 17:44:15 +0000 UTCand I can leave the suggestion that you post on YT the reaction to Butter and Film Out. These are recent singles that are not part of a album. this would be awesome for your channel, as it would draw attention from more armys =)

2021-10-10 03:09:42 +0000 UTCwe have a joke in bts where they disguise dark songs with funky beats, the slapping tape on the water dome meme. *dark topics* bts: awesome beat

2021-10-09 18:03:30 +0000 UTCfor gogo its kind of a nudge at the habbit of overspending and the lavish lifestyles at the expense of ur future, they sung in the perspective of these people that live in the moment. they know that it'll end up no good but they cant help to indulge in these lifestyles even if they're not financialy adept to it. that's why they said squandering fun and that the future is dark, bank account is a bottomless pot. but they still go yolo and indulge in it anyway
alessia
2021-10-09 18:00:59 +0000 UTCwhen u said its tear (teardrops) or tear as in ripped I was snickering cause they used it in the lyrics as well in the next album

2021-10-09 17:57:56 +0000 UTCbtw I really love :( when u talk and ur breakdowns, talk as much as u want
alessia
2021-10-09 17:56:51 +0000 UTCdid you realise at the start of the album its all innocence of love and how its fate etc but in the end it went darker on how someone changes and hides themselves for the other person, and you'll understand in the next album haha. watching music videos actually helps a lot with the symbolism etc
alessia
2021-10-09 17:55:38 +0000 UTCAlso, to add my personal opinion, this LY series is probably my favorite from BTS' discography (but it's hard to choose, because all of their albums are very strong). There's just so many tracks I love from these albums and the themes are very personal to me. I don't know if you know, but they also have a campaign with UNICEF called Love Myself - they have donated a big chunk of money into this, donated a % of a profit from these three albums, 100% from their merch and some more. If you'd like, you can watch a few documentaries on YouTube, get to know the group and the members a little bit more - on or off camera, whatever you prefer. I think that would help you understand their music more, too, because a lot of it is inspired from their personal experiences, thoughts and stories. For example, Outro: Tear (from the next album you're gonna do) is from a time where they really struggled as a group (almost disbanded).
Michel
2021-10-09 17:54:32 +0000 UTCyou'll be amazed on how some of the lyrics will connect to their next album haha, they planted the seeds for the next two albums already!
alessia
2021-10-09 17:51:24 +0000 UTCI love your reactions so much, as well as these three albums. They're golden. As you'll go through all of them, you'll notice the full story behind it - first we have the love, falling into those feelings, what one would do for the person they're in love with etc. But then in shifts, and that change comes in LY: Tear... When you said you're lowkey scared to get into that one, it's totally understandable. That album is very often chosen as the best BTS album (fan-based). It will probably come all together after you listen to all three of them. Love continues to be the main theme, but not only as the "typical relationship love" but also as the love one should have for themselves. I can't wait for you to listen to it!
Michel
2021-10-09 17:41:55 +0000 UTCI love LY tear so much, I remember when they released I was surprised on the direction they went to on every track it was a pleasant surprise

2021-10-09 15:09:04 +0000 UTCi would definitely recommend checking out the song ‘sea’. its a hidden track from this album thats only available on the physical album however im sure theres lyric vids for it online. its a really honest song that goes into some of the hardships they’ve experienced over the years. the lyrics of the outro for this album flows so well into the theme of tear. very excited for you to get into that album as it remains one of my favourite albums by them n probably will for a long time to come

2021-10-09 14:44:08 +0000 UTCThank you for this reaction. Glad u enjoyed it!! Also, RM doesnt go with “Rap Monster” anymore. Around 2017/2018 he said to have outgrown the name becasue of his personal growth. So excited for you to check out LY: Tear. One of the best BTS albums in my opinion. The sound is so different. Once you finish up the LY series, you can see how well it all clicks together

2021-10-09 13:05:24 +0000 UTCAlso, hope we get to see the other two album reactions soon. Can't wait for "Answer" specifically!!
Kritika
2021-10-09 11:35:56 +0000 UTCLoved that you loved the album! Had been waiting for you to release this :) Now to answer some of the things you asked - 1. "tri-colored cat was not wrong cause calico cats are tri-colored but yes the meaning behind it would have to be looked up anyway haha. 2. Pied Piper is dedicated to ARMY. It's almost like saying don't compromise on what you need to do but also don't stop supporting us. 3. This is not song specific but BTS in general does have a lot of songs that directly point towards their relationship with the ARMY. Like a common theme, you'd notice is the appreciation for each other.
Kritika
2021-10-09 11:34:52 +0000 UTCI don't think you're ready for rapper Jungkook 😂
Michelle Winchester
2021-10-09 09:24:30 +0000 UTCAs for Best of Me, this is where things are starting to change and you might look at it in a completely different way after you finish the LY series. Like I honestly find the song a little scary now 😂
Michelle Winchester
2021-10-09 08:34:32 +0000 UTCSerendipity is a really interesting song in that it's on both LY: Her and LY: Answer. The version you heard was actually from LY:Answer, which is the long version that has a bridge added to it. Considering what the overall story arch of the albums were, the bridge in Serendipity always drew me in. The song might represent love that survived the test or it might be finding love that feels similar as the first one, but there's more assurance in it now ("It's not a dream at all"). Or it even could be the first version is about someone else and then the second version is about finally finding that part of yourself you have lost. Or maybe I'm just seeing too much in it, but honestly, with BTS' lyrics, you just never know :D
Michelle Winchester
2021-10-09 08:14:30 +0000 UTCOh, and there was a hidden track on this album called "Sea", and it's very good. Even if you don't react to it, it's really good, so I strongly recommend you listen to it.
Cat L
2021-10-09 07:16:18 +0000 UTCAbout Go Go: The song is actually a lot more layered than the translation you were looking at lead on. The Korean economy is terrible for the younger generation. The cost of housing and life in general is incredibly high, the job market is saturated, jobs are hard to come by even for the highly educated, so many millennials and younger generations have all but given up the hopes of being able to buy a home and have families. The song also contains a lot of puns and play on words that do not really translate in English, so I strongly recommend you look at Doolset Bangtan's translation for this because she provides lots of translator notes and context. Here's a snippet of what she touches on for the line "Squandering fun, pay it all" "탕진잼 is a slang that can be broken into 탕진 and 잼. 탕진 (tangjin) means squandering, and 잼 (jam) is a shortened form of 재미 (jaemi; fun). It refers to a spending behavior of the young generation to spend all the available fund to get the maximum satisfaction with what they have. The macroeconomic conditions in Korea have been pretty sluggish, and the youth unemployment rate has been historically high. With a very low expectation of the economic conditions or opportunities turning in favor of them, and because “specks gathered are still specks,” young people choose to spend it all." (Doolset) This is from a Billboard article: "The song approaches criticism of the materialism rife in society through parody. The trick lies in the dissonance between the vibe and the lyrics — it sounds like a tropical party anthem that belongs in an Instagram-worthy island getaway. But the words tear off the facade of extravagance when J-Hope raps, “I don’t have the money but I want to leave, far away.” They express the emptiness of terms like “YOLO” through repetition so extensive that words lose their mean. The lyrics are thoughtful in their deliberate thoughtlessness."

2021-10-09 07:00:42 +0000 UTCYou have to check out Dimple + Pied Piper live. It will make you feel things.

2021-10-09 06:56:03 +0000 UTCpied piper is sort of like a diss track to the ARMY and the boys are telling us to stop watching and dissecting music video theories for just an hour to focus on our work and this song is their reward to us for completing our work 😂😂
Bee
2021-10-09 05:11:47 +0000 UTCThe big singles such as DNA, FAKE LOVE and IDOL all have (more correct) translations within the official music videos, so I recommend you watch those instead of the lyric videos!!! Also loved this reaction, can't wait for TEAR!💜💜💜

2021-10-09 05:01:20 +0000 UTCNo, You're right!!!! You're not ready for Tear. No one is. It's a modern day masterpiece.

2021-10-09 04:29:52 +0000 UTCLoved this reaction and can’t wait for the rest of the LY series — it is my favorite era from them! Also I know you usually don’t do the music videos the first time around (totally understand bc the lyrics are way more important) but I definitely can’t wait for you to watch all of the MVs for these songs (and also the previous albums). Also also You definitely need to react to some of their live performances because you will be absolutely blown away! As for if you should be scared about LY tear — that is a yes. It might possibly be my absolute favorite out of the LY series.
Virginia
2021-10-09 03:25:44 +0000 UTCYESS!! I am so ready for him to hear Lie because it is genuinely my favorite ever!
Virginia
2021-10-09 03:21:35 +0000 UTCsuch an amazing reaction again 💜 !! when you cover these albums it honestly makes me feel like I am listening to the albums the first time myself. you're right about the billboard skit being when they were first really breaking into America, it was actually their first win at an American Award show, which is not only a huge win for bts, but a win for international artists 🙌 bts def helped pave the way for increased visibility of international artists :') I'm also SO excited to see you react to more MVs/live performances - on first listen, DNA and GO GO didn't move me as much as some other BTS songs as well, but after seeing the choreo for both those songs .... OH BOY - it do come together and its comes together hard hahah. CANNOT wait for the LY Tear reaction because that album is an absolute masterpiece🕺🕺🕺🕺

2021-10-09 02:41:11 +0000 UTCOh so much to say but trying to not leave a huge essay as a comment, ahh! Ok, love how the more you listen, the more you start to appreciate what each member uniquely brings to the group/songs! Based off your reactions to Jimin's Filter and Serendipity, I can't wait until you get to the Wings album and hear Lie. It is probably my favorite Jimin song, but that is really a tough decision because I love them all so much. That and everyone has solo songs on Wings that are just superb anyway. BUT just in the meanwhile I'm looking forward to your next reaction to Tear. You brought up a lot of important ideas and themes from this reaction that will carry over into Tear, so I hope you remember them still whenever you get to the Tear reaction. I'm excited because it truly is one of their best albums. You are right to have your guard up because while this album was mostly upbeat and happy, Tear delves DEEP. Also just had to point out that in Outro: Her with the lyrics, they all reference the Love Yourself series. The 3 albums are Her, Tear, and Answer, but there was a short film/video released with the song Euphoria that was technically released as Love Yourself: Wonder. The song is later also included in the Answer album so it normally isn't recognized as a separate thing, but Outro: Her uses all 4 of those titles which is pretty awesome. Enough rambling, so last comment I'll make is that if you get a chance you should check out Lindsey Stirling she is an awesome violinist/dancer. I'm not super familiar with her work, especially not recently, but I've been impressed by everything of hers I've seen.
Panic@theBTS
2021-10-09 02:33:18 +0000 UTCI love watching your reactions. You really dive in thoughtfully to the lyrics and the art and poetry behind it. I cannot wait for you to eventually watch the videos and understand the story lines and imagery they portray with these songs. You will equally be drawn in and amazed. This was the first album I purchased of BTS and never looked back. They offer so much as artists. I agree that people who just hate on them have never spent time knowing them or listening to their discography. There is much more than meets the eye. Keep up the great work! 💜🤗
JJ
2021-10-09 02:12:02 +0000 UTCMan, that was such a great album reaction! Don’t apologize for how much you have to say, it’s super enjoyable going through the discovery process with you! I know everyone else has said it already, but I can’t wait to see your reaction to Tear. And yes, you should be scared of it, especially if you use the feelings of the fated, all-consuming love from Her as your emotional starting place. Oh, also with Calico cat - a really high percentage of calico cats are female, so being a male and saying he’s your calico cat, Jimin is saying he’s someone’s one in a million.
Kate N
2021-10-09 01:48:56 +0000 UTCAnd once you start watching them dance to the songs… the songs elevate from sonic and lyrical genius to a masterpiece when the visual, physical expression and interpretation is folded in.

2021-10-09 01:30:54 +0000 UTCLoved your reaction! Im always excited to see you react to bts's music and lyrics, Tear is my personal favorite from the trilogy but honestly they're all great and Her is such a good album too. A couple of comments on some of the songs. Pied Piper is like you said someone who leads people, it comes from a folktale where he lures kids with his flute, so BTS uses the flute very cleverly in that song and make themselves into Pied Piper, this song is dedicated to the fans, and it explores the complex issue between knowing that fans obsessing too much isnt good for us, but also the knowledge that they as Artists NEED fans to be into them, with lyrics like "You don't need to analyse our mv's right now" contrasting with lyrics like "Don't reject me". Gogo is honestly genious, it's very surface level if you don't pay attention (not saying you didnt pay attention!), but it's actually a critique of the money spending culture that has developed in young people but also especially critical of how our generation has lower prospects and is devoid of hope for their futures (you'll see as you go through their albums, they reference this a lot). Thanks for the reaction again!

2021-10-09 01:13:37 +0000 UTC1) Jungkook is actually a sub-rapper and J-Hope is a sub-vocal. Your face when JK started rapping is such a mood. 2) Fun Fact: Camila Cabello’s fav BTS song is Mic Drop (I know your a Camila Fan) 3) MIC DROP is the song for the haters. You were actually listening to the version without the dance breaks(Steve aoki remix) because those goes 10x harder. The dance break is just chef’s kiss. J-hope be killing those moves 4) BTS’s path to success was so brutal. As someone who’s seen many musicians documentaries, BTS’s one was the most brutal in my book. They came from a VERY small company and had no power in the industry AT ALL. BTS were cut from broadcasts, became back-up dancers for shows, was a filler, recorded an album in a garage, used director’s cousin in MV’s, not given a waiting room, accused of plagiarism for hair colors(wtf) and the antis trended #plagarismboys number 1 on Twitter just because BTS won over their fav group. Their story is so inspiring, I am inspired to work hard everyday by them. I cannot wait for LY:Tear and LY: Answer :)))

2021-10-09 01:10:58 +0000 UTCMic drop is kind of the last cypher unofficially. It's like a Cypher step brother. (Along with Ddang but your not ready for that yet) Lol The Cyphers were 4 ...well... cyphers from the rapline where they took shots at any and everyone who took time to spit on their name during their come up. And there were many who did. Many we even have receipts for, and I'm sure a lot we dont know about. Mic Drop is kind of the send off. It's the "this is the last time im gonna waste my time on yall. Your not important to me anymore. Go be mad somewhere else." Vibe

2021-10-09 00:48:44 +0000 UTCThis was the very first award they received from an american award show. It was Top Social Artist and they beat out Justin Beiber who had previously held that award for the last 6 years. No one knew who they were I'm the music business and had no idea what to do with them in promotion circles. But the fanbase was growing so rapidly and so Largely that they literally couldnt be ignored anymore. They performed DNA on an american broadcast for the first time that year on the AMAs too. (other then tours and like kcon) It's still a huge milestone in BTS and ARMY history.

2021-10-09 00:41:45 +0000 UTCPied Piper is a sort of toung-in-cheek song for ARMY, 'your parent's and boss hate me' 'you have enough pictures of me in you're room already' etc. It's like saying they know we're obsessed with them and they know it can maybe be detrimental to work/studies and stuff but they obviously are famous BECAUSE they have fans so they're asking us to follow the sound of the flute/their music and keep being fans. After all, isn't it worth it? lol I love you're reactions btw, i think listening to albums the full way through really allows you to get a deeper insight to an artists music and you can see the themes and any stories they're telling though the music. Also a lot of work goes into the tracklist and the placement of tracks so it's nice to appreciate it haha, although you must be losing your voice by the end of some of the longer albums you listen to. I really like your commentary on the lyrics as well, it's satisfying to watch someone pick up the meaning quickly (for some reason, a lot of reactors on YT cannot understand metaphors, it drives me insane). Can't wait for LY:Tear <3

2021-10-09 00:21:56 +0000 UTCHi Michael awesome reaction!!!! Only thing I will add is that Her actually included a hidden track on its physical album called "Sea" which you can find color coded lyrics on YouTube for it!!! Its quite a heartful and honest emotional confession of the hardships they've gone through. Highly HIGHLY reccomend you check it out before going on to Answer. Whether you would like to make a separate reaction or just listen to it during your Answer reaction is up to you!!! Thanks for listening!

2021-10-09 00:16:21 +0000 UTCLove this reaction so much! The Love Yourself Trilogy is so iconic in every way. Too put it in short words, Love Yourself Her is about falling in love and the experiences of love, Love Yourself Tear is about the dark and sad sides of love and Love Yourself Answer about the importance of loving yourself. Please when you do Love Yourself Answer don’t forget to hear Mic Drop remix which has way more english lyrics. BTS debuted as a hip hop group, so in their early days JK used to rap and ofc he's so good at it. Pied piper is a song for Army. Also I totally recommend you to watch the live versions of these songs, hearing the song it’s only a half part of the whole experience, their choreographies and performances in general are mind blowing, almost every song in this album has a choreo, including Serendipity. BTS has been through so many hardships since the beginning of their career until now, there are a couple of youtube videos explaining if you want to check them out xceleste has great videos. I’m happy you enjoy it and can’t wait for Tear album and please look out for the meaning of outro: tear because is more painful than what it seems.

2021-10-08 23:59:44 +0000 UTCThe LY albums are definitely ones where there's a running themes and parallels. Keep in mind the tone that Outro Her because it leads to the next intro for the Tear album, singularity.

2021-10-08 23:32:53 +0000 UTCYou should definitely check Mic Drop Steve Aoki Remix, it hits 5 times harder. Also Love Yourself Tear is an amazing album, its very different and lyrics are sooo good. Finally my favorite from this album is Serendipity, I’m in love with that song. Can’t wait for your to hear the full version song.

2021-10-08 23:16:04 +0000 UTCFirstly to u being scared for Love yourself: Tear....I'd say...accurate. Really loved ur reaction...reminded me of the first time I heard it and what a roller coaster it was. You could learn the language and I say that as someone who is attempting to... but also u end up learning the songs anyways and being able to sing along at some point....it just happens?😂(raps are more difficult than the vocals) Also if u ever need explanations doolset is obviously amazing and the best but also as a new person getting into BTS music Genius translations also work good because they sometimes give a little extra context and breakdown. There is also a hidden gem of a song called "Sea" that is a hidden track meaning it was only available on the physical album of LY:Her and not on streaming. You should definitely check it out. About what u said during mic drop. Yup they have had a lot of haters and continue to be a target of an insane amount of hate and ridicule to this date. BTS in general are some of the most humble people in the world and they don't in life attack or even respond to their haters, they just put it in their music. That is the one place they don't shy away from all of those emotions so it actually ends up being quite neat. As a final note when listening to the final track on Tear which is Outro-Tear, definitely look up its meaning.

2021-10-08 23:16:02 +0000 UTCOh...your surprised face to rapper JK, you're not ready for what's to come in earlier albums. Also Pied Piper is a song dedicated to ARMY, you can tell by all the references that they do such as VLIVE, Bon Voyage, etc. But either way great reaction! I can't wait for your reaction to LY: Tear because it has some of my all time favorite BTS songs on it. And also....concerning MIC DROP you have no idea about the kind of shit they got while they were up and coming It's very sad, but it's also a very inspiring story. I won't say more because you probably want to discover this for yourself, but there's some great videos on Youtube that tell about everything they've gone through. I would recommend XCeleste for sure as an ARMY who makes fantastic videos on the boys.

2021-10-08 22:57:07 +0000 UTCI'm so glad you are doing the whole love yourself series in full. It's a journey. Also to answer your question regarding whether it's tear (crying) or tear (ripping): yes.
