I’m going to start with the bad. I’m ignoring what Mouth said because I can’t even with that. But I feel like their situation is really annoying because they moved right past the reasons she slept someone and it feels like their vilifying her after he was allowing another woman to flirt with him and even enjoying it and it went so far past being innocent at all. And he never really did anything to stop her. Like he would say you shouldn’t do that but then she would immediately do it again and he would just laugh it off, which I feel like was encouraging her to keep going. The line he has about I was going to give your stuff away like you did with your virginity pisses me off every time I hear it. I could understand a person making the argument that he’s saying these things about her virginity because he’s trying to hurt her as much as he’s hurting and he knows that was something she felt strongly about, but in context with all the things he’s said about her virginity just make it gross, like she owed it to him. Okay moving on to something I don’t hate. Brooke and Julian. I think they’re very cute together and they do have a similar background with having a disapproving parental figure who never sees their true potential. Now I finally get to talk about Julian. More specifically the actor, Austin Nichols. I think it’s kind of hilarious that we had such opposite experiences with him. I’ve been waiting until we got here where you understand his character and motivations better to talk about this because I didn’t want to say anything to sway your opinion of Julian early on or lead into possible spoilers on how his story developed between then and now. I know you have a harder time separating him from his walking dead character, but this is how I think of him (even though technically the first thing I saw him in was a Mary-Kate and Ashely movie from when he was like 16) and I had the hugest crush on him when this aired. Which honestly shouldn’t be a shocker because I’m pretty sure at this point I’ve mentioned that I was like in love with at least half of the men on this show. At first I was also annoyed by him but once I got to this point in his story, I was sold with that grin they mention so much that’s somehow both adorable and sexy. And I was SOOO excited when he showed up on the walking dead and then you know how that went. Like he’s a great actor because he made me hate him with how annoying he was which I didn’t know was possible for someone I found so attractive and charming previously. But I will leave it at that because I don’t want to spoil that show for anyone. But it’s fascinating to me the way that consuming media in a different order to someone else can shape your opinion of the actor in such different ways.

2025-06-30 06:04:20 +0000 UTCAll right, finished the whole thing (yes, it's 2:30 am) and I enjoyed your reaction as always. 6x15 was a nice episode and had so many cute moments, especially with Jamie calling up the coach. But of course we had to also have interesting moments like Mr. Director coming out of his limo and then taking Lucas' words to Paul. 🤦♀️ Speaking of James Van Der Beek, I'm sure i mentioned him being in Criminal Minds (btw wouldn't be against you checking that show out, but then again there are A LOT of episodes), but there's also a story he told once about Justin Timberlake. If I'm remembering correctly, he said there was a time where he would try and sneak Justin into a club with his I.d. It worked, but then Justin tried to pass it off to Lance, and then they caught on. 😂 This was before Nsync blew up. But anyway, loved your reaction and can't wait for the next one!

2025-06-28 04:37:59 +0000 UTCPausing between episodes. Random memory of having walkie-talkies with one of my best friends when we were kids. I'll always remember that day when we were using them (my red and blue ones) and suddenly a random girl started talking. We were soooo confused and kinda freaked out. My mom started talking to her, and it just happened to be a random kid, not anything to really worry about. But yeah. That's a memory that popped into my head when Lucas pulled out the walkie-talkies. I loved those things. Also, what I love about 6x14 is that it was a nice call-back to when Haley took care of the two kids when she was pregnant in high school. And don't get me started on the Mouth stuff. Honestly, when I first watched it, I didn't really pay close attention to all the virginity and Millie thing. I mean, I did, but it didn't really piss me off as much as it does now. Maybe because I'm older and we now know about the BTS bs, and why the character of Mouth is the way he is. It's just blah. But I also get and understand him not wanting to see her because all he sees his Owen and her. Totally get that. Its just the overall situation. 🤷♀️ Okay, back to watching!
