I guess SOME Kewpie dolls had outfits and themes. But most were just little naked kids. And for some collectors it’s just the sheer number that is the appeal. I think of Youtuber Dan Larson who is the owner of the largest collection of vintage Boba Fett figures. It’s over 500 copies of the same figure in various states of wear. It’s a thing some people do.
