By the way, the premiere was a double episode, so they showed ep 2 right after, as you can see, for good reason. Quentin accepted being a magician because he's lived his whole life enamored by the concept of magic through the Fillory books and is why he never really fit in. So much so that he had himself committed 'cause he was so depressed. He accepted it 'cause he WANTED it to be real so badly, he jumped at the chance. Also, it's more crazy to deny it once you've been transported magically and shown he can do magic in his exam. Either accept it's true or he's insane, which he knows he's not 'cause Julia was there also and corroborates it.

2018-07-11 11:24:25 +0000 UTCOh, one of the GREAT things about this show is the characters because they all are very...human. They all are flawed and all of them, at some point and time do assholish things. But, none of them are all bad nor all good.

It took me a while to notice that. Probably 'cause I watched both of these when they were out and they were spread out from one another. I hadn't seen her in a couple of years, I guess, by the time this came out.

2018-07-11 10:39:28 +0000 UTCThey don't seem to mention "warlocks" either. Humans that do magic are magicians, male and female. This show borrows more from "The Chronicles of Narnia" than Harry Potter, but it's completely different than that also. xD

2018-07-11 10:35:33 +0000 UTCFirst thing, this is NOT Harry Potter. You'll only be REALLY confused if you relate it to this. The only similarity is that there is a school that teaches magic. This one, though, is more like a college though. As you can see, this is MUCH more adult and darker, not to mention completely different premises. Not at all a diss to Harry Potter. I read all the books and saw all the movies (*ahem* nerd), it's just this is a totally different concept and I love it also.
