So true! This is the dichotomy between the characters perceptions of Stefan and Damon. Stefan is seen as good by most of the characters, therefore when he does these things, many of them assume it's for the greater-good and aren't mad. Damon is perceived as selfish and bad by most characters (as they don't know the real him), therefore when he does these things, they assume the worst and shun him.

However, the problem isn't her accepting vampirism, it's that Stefan could not accept her as one. Two very different things.

2017-11-27 01:48:00 +0000 UTCIf you recall, Stefan took a particular interest in Elena due to her similarities to Katherine as well, something people tend to forget. He admits that he even vetted her to be sure of it. Damon was drawn to Elena before Stefan because he thought she was Katherine, but instead he told her to live a good life and compelled her to forget their discussion. He didn't insert himself into her life, he stayed away while Stefan did not. Because I like both characters, I don't ignore the facts on both sides.

But with Damon they’re defending him, he did good and bad things he’s still cute and lovely lol. And as for Stefan forcing Jeremy to kill a vanpire, didn’t Jeremy also agreed to it if it meant saving Elena and the fastest way to get the cure?🤔 And didn’t Klaus threatened Stefan (when he was working out in the woods) to make Jeremy kill vampires immediately and asap? Just like he forced Damon to do so?🤔 hmn something’s fishy or was it my imagination only? How I wish Stefan to move on fast, he did not deserve it😔😔 but afterall, you can’t expect an epic love just to end in 1 week💔

I also like Damon but Stefan is like the boyfriend or husband that I never had. I wish nothing but him to move on easily just like Elena. Maybe Elena didn’t love Stefan that much because she never even shed a single tear when they broke up🤔🤔

2017-11-26 19:58:18 +0000 UTCWe're in season 4....Damon has been over Katherine since 2x01....Katherine has offered herself to Damon and he turned her down....Damon is way past Katherine and has never seen Elena as Katherine that would be Stefan who spent his time stalking Elena and enrolled himself into school to "start over" with Katherine's human lookalike....Stefan had conditions in his love for Elena...He saw Elena as someone who made him forget who and what he was ie a vampire and Elena saw Stefan as someone who wouldn't die on her like her parents did....Both "needed" something and certain circumstances in their lives brought them together...Elena and Damon on the other hand are very complicated but WANT to be with each other in spite of all of the craziness that goes on in their relationship....What Damon has with Elena is NOTHING like what he had with Katherine...Elena LOVES Damon....Katherine only loved herself and Stefan.

I hated Elena as a vampire, because all she cared about was Damon, Damon and Damon.. and sex with Damon! I just couldn't stand her.. In my opinion (even tho I'm Stelena shipper) Defan didn't deserve Elena.. They should dumped her and move on.. And yes, sometimes I liked Delena in some parts of their relationship, but I still stand to the fact that Damon only saw Elena as Katherine 2 and wanted to have that missed opportunity he could had with her (Kath)..

2017-11-25 19:25:27 +0000 UTCIf Elena wasn't sired to Damon from the start she can easily accept vampirism withot killing and feeding on humans...everything can be diffrent,so dont say that sire bond mean nothing.../And anyway relationship with u boyfrind brother is wrong and even more wrong that she slept with him like next day after break up with Stefan /And im not even Stelena shipper - i didn't like how she treat him from season 2...

2017-11-25 16:44:03 +0000 UTCI thought it was selfish of Stefan to want his memories of Elena erased...I understand he was hurt but if you truly loved that person you would want to keep the memory even if said person hurt you....The fact he did that in front of Elena was even more selfish as if he was the only one hurt in that situation neither Damon or Elena planned on falling in love it naturally happened over time while Stefan chose Klaus over his relationship, and spent his time pushing Elena away....Damon was back at home trying to fix it, trying to keep them together...Stefan had a choice and his choice was Klaus even after he got his freedom back so he needs to take part of the blame for the downfall of their relationship trying to claim Elena slept with Damon ie implying that she cheated on him when he knew the reason for the break up was because of her feelings for Damon and the fact that they grew apart made my stomach turn...Elena and Stefan had a mutual break up both agreed that they were no longer working and here is Stefan going out of his way trying to find the cure in order to fix her while Elena is learning to survive and accepting her vampirism. It's utterly ridiculous....I loved the moment between Elena and Stefan in the hallway...Elena's instincts kicked in by chasing him but she stopped because she knew Stefan was her past life and now she is moving forward with Damon which makes her first "I love you" to Damon so special she is finally admitting to what she wants...She is sired but Damon didn't push or tell Elena to "love" him that was something Elena previously admitted under compulsion....So in retrospect Damon and Elena are facing an obstacle with the sirebond which is causing insecurities in their relationship but context is continously showing us that Elena's feelings and love for Damon is REAL and that is what Delena is...Real, messy and complicated which makes their journey even more special...Real love is not a fairytale.

In 4x07 Stefan went behind Elena's back and forced Jeremy to kill that vampire and in this episode damon actually told elena that he may have to do things she won't like in order for Jeremy's mark to grow. He made sure elena knew the truth and he didn't keep her in the dark. I love that

2017-11-25 05:24:18 +0000 UTCI really hated that stefan said the reason he and elena broke up was because she slept with damon, they broke up before that and Stefan initiated the breakup in the first place. It was like Stefan was implying elena cheated on him which she didn't.
