As a bonus, Peggy Carter shows up a couple of times (in flashback) in season 2 of Agents of SHIELD. (You don't have to watch Agent Carter first, though. Just know she fought Hydra during WW2 and was one of the founders of SHIELD.)

2017-11-27 18:24:06 +0000 UTCI just pledged the $40 level. Could you react to season 1 of Marvel's Agent Carter? It's set in the 1940's after World War 2 and Peggy Carter is working for the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), which was the agency that preceded SHIELD. (Agent Carter is one of the founders of SHIELD). It's only 8 episodes but it's a lot of fun with plenty of action. If you like Agents of SHIELD, I think you'll really like Agent Carter.
