I watched TVD and TO together. I personally feel that is a better way to watch the shows because even if you don't necessarily have to the experience of it was great and on more than a couple occasions the shows have similar storylines.

2017-12-23 02:33:12 +0000 UTCI think it is interesting that interaction between rebekah and klaus. when he was telling her what it meant to be human. how she could stand there and wonder if there is anything else she could have done. there was because she is a vampire. what he is telling her if that she wouldn't have the same choices if she were human. she wouldn't have been able to save april because she wouldnt have that power. i cant wait for the next episode and for you to start the originals. as far as the schedule. i think treating both like a single show is the best way to do it.

And you know you'll miss seeing Rebekah every week if you do that ;) Dynasty will be over in like 8 episodes anyway.

It may not be as confusing as watching TO before TVD but don't you want the experience most people got an watch it as it aired. GoT, Dynasty and Izombie will be done in no time. You'll be able to put a bit more time into TVD/TO then

2017-12-22 23:39:56 +0000 UTCI think you should watch them together, because watching one before the other might spoil some of the other show. I suggest starting TO 1x01 and TVD 5x01 on the same week. Then you could do one episode of each a week, so you aren't too overwhelmed.

2017-12-22 23:16:05 +0000 UTCI didn't watch TO with TVD. And honestly there are not a lot of crossovers, 4-5 at most, if no less. So I wasn't confused while watching TVD.
