I think you'll eventually like Iris more :) In season 1, she was my least favourite character, I think largely because we get so much more buildup with every other character and I just don't think the writing did Iris any favours in this season :/ But I will say that in the latest season, she is one of my favourite characters now and I would die for her!!! So I hope you get to that point <3

2019-06-19 21:50:52 +0000 UTCThat is one of the wonderful things about not being part of the fandom. I can judge the story by what I see rather than what happens bts. That's why I hate following the actors of shows I haven't finished bc their personalities sometimes affect how I view the show. And actors and characters are completely different. Im sad to hear that ppl were racist towards the actress, no one deserves that, specially not over a damn ship!

Some of us because of what Candice went through after she got the role from racist comic book fans and especially Danielle Panabaker's fans (not all are like that tho). I can never see the slowboring chemistry because of how that fandom started to begin with. (Again not all are but most of them are)

She's already in love with the idea of slowboring, she's not gonna like Iris either because that's how slowboring fans start. As much as I'm exited for her cw dc comics reactions, she doesn't know the comics and what WESTALLEN represents in the dc universe. I'm just glad that she's reacting to the flash

She was just tryna let Linda know that, that might be the reason he's acting weird while on dates. I also feel like Iris subconsciously IS jealous, she doesn't realise it and therefore doesn't notice when she's "sabotaging" his relationship with other girls lol
