Charmed 1x01 FULL REACTION

2021-07-13 23:32:50 +0000 UTCI have seen the original several times. It's to this day one of my favorite TV shows. The original had a much better pace to the story and background on their witch ancestry. The acting was much better on the Original. The special effects were much better on the original. This reboot has cringey acting and the visuals of their powers is horribly done. I will give it a couple more episodes before I quit the show. The feminism and political storylines are good but I feel they shove it down the audience's throat by mentioning it where it doesn't belong. I strongly dislike the demons in this episode as well as the whitelighter. I feel this show will never top the original but it may become a decent show later on If I don't compare it to the original too much.

2018-10-16 20:42:36 +0000 UTCOh my god it was so bad. You said the acting wasn't bad, or that it wasn't their fault, but I disagree. The acting from EVERYONE was bad. The writing was bad. Everything was so god-damn cringy. The effects for the demons and stuff weren't great either. I know I thought Jeremy(Piper's demon boyfriend) in ep 1 was a bit cringy but this was so bad. I found myself wondering when the episode was over because I couldn't take it. Jesus christ.

2018-10-16 10:02:22 +0000 UTCI thought the show was disappointing... But tbh, most cw show are these days. It felt super rushed, I don't get why they needed to do that. Finding out that they had some sort of powers could have been the end of the first episode. The fact that someone simply kidnapped them and was like "hey, you're the charmed ones, I'm a whitelighter... Now go and kill demons". It should have been more about the getting to know the characters imo. The whole "vibe" was very strange. Lol I even started laughing at the background music, sounding like a Nintendo wii game or something XD. Haha I'm such a hater.. But I can't help it, I just expected a lot more!

I think they are trying to get the new generation to watch this instead us hard core fans of the original Charmed. I almost fell asleep while watching this. Hollywood needs to stop doing remakes and reboots of shows and movies
