It came out the same day ep 19 came out but infinity wars date was pushed up. So it was suppose to come out on ep 20. just don’t want her to worry about that thing while watching the finale till after she’s seen it.

i like the idea, though it's not totally necessary in my opinion. Infinity War came out definely before episode 21/22 of AoS. i think it was released when episode 18/19 was airing so it wouldn't be bad if she watched it a little earlier

if she goes by two episodes of AOS with no breaks then she will finish the series about half way through january. i know for the holidays you may slow down on your reactions. you will probably finish season 5 by the end of january. maybe thats to long a wait for infinity war. what do you other patrons think

GOTG 2 is actually set 4 months after the first one. So it’s still 2014 on earth, which is basically during the first half is season 3 of AoS. The cut scene where Peter tells teenage Groot to clean his room is actually 4 years after the rest of the movie.

Guys I was thinking that since Juli will finish AOS in a month or so she should watch infinity war the same week she watches ep 21 and 22 because of “that event.” I would love to see everything line up for her. After Spider-Man and Thor ragnorok and black panther. she could take a mini break from marvel movies. It will be around Christmas 🎄 or New Years so maybe holiday movies or if she hasn’t seen it the Sam raimi Spider-Man trilogy. Just a suggestion.

Those Ravagers at the end cut scene were an Easter Egg for the original Guardians of the Galaxy in the comics. All those guys plus Yondu were the originals.

I cried LIKE A WEE BABE at the end with Yondu's funeral and Gamora and Nebula's goodbye. Actually cry every time and this was probably the 4th time watching this.

Don't know if you noticed, but on Earth where Ego was expanding and chasing that blue car, that was Peter's grandfather that we saw at the beginning of the first movie at the hospital.

Interesting thing about Ego is that he wasn't ever lying to Peter. From his point of view, he told Peter everything that mattered...to HIM. To him, everything he did makes complete sense and he didn't think he was being evil or mean. Everything wasn't an illusion nor a lie. He actually thought, from his HUGE point of view, that he was correct. Of course, his name, Ego, is completely appropriate.

Those other Spiderman movies were made by Sony. They are not a part of the MCU. Spiderman Homecoming is also made by Sony in partnership with Marvel. This movie is part of the one big story Marvel is telling.

I believe Peter is still half god. When he held the infinity stone it was because of his genetics. There was no indication that it was because of Ego’s planet he was able to do this. As far as him being able to harness the power I have no idea. Ego lied a lot so maybe Peter has it inside of himself to use his own power.

This is the first Marvel movie that made me cry like a baby in the theatre. The whole last scene with Yondu and the funeral afterwards together with the music, all that on a huge cinema screen, it was too much haha. It's exactly like you said, it's mostly hilarious and funny but also totally sad at the end.

Juli, there's a video that you absolutely NEED to watch. I know you are very busy with all the shows, but trust me it's worth it. It's a music video of the last song they played in the credits and it's made by the whole cast and film crew of the movie including the director James Gunn. It's everything that makes Guardians great, it's funny,weird and hilarious. You don't need to make a reaction to it, if you don't feel like it, but please watch it and enjoy, you'll love it. I remember when they put this movie on Netflix, I’m not kidding, I watched it like 5 times in two weeks cause it’s just so great and funny and always cheers me up, it’s definitely my go-to marvel movie
