Hey Juli! I loved this reaction and hearing your thoughts on this episode. I just wanted to add that I love the way the show delves into what I call “writer brain”. Emily’s mind is always writing even when she’s doing other things and as a writer myself, the same thing happens to me. It’s like Emily’s poems are ready to burst out of her because so much of her energy and passion goes into them. I just love how full of life Emily is and I think the hybrid of period piece traditions and modern aspects in the show really enhance that
