Omg no one mentioned that they played the same song at the end “be still” by the fray while alaric died / turned into an original in TVD!! And the whole TVD cast was standing saying goodbye to Ric and in this episode the whole school was standing outside the hospital just like that episode

The actress who plays josie immediately unfollowed him and so did 6 others from the cast. This was a couple years ago. I’ve hated the guy since. He was posting really bad stuff. Idk if the cast re followed him on twitter or not but it makes me sad.

Also I feel like you should rewatch the scene between Lizzie and Alaric cause like Caitlyn said in the comment above , you were too distracted by Rebekah to understand the importance of the scene *sigh* This reaction was really hard to watch.

2021-11-13 19:26:51 +0000 UTCwe also have to remember that he did not know what hope was going to grow up into, He was just trying to give her a father figure, show her some nurturing and love so that she would grow to be the best version of herself, that's how I see it. It does not mean he loves her more than his kids, but trying to avoid hope growing up bad was a big distraction for him. I honestly think he does his best, like he runs a school full of supernatural kids. And the twins as his daughters obviously do not see it that way and it's understandable.

2021-11-13 06:40:04 +0000 UTCI'm sorry but I loovvvve this Hope!! I feel like we are starting to know her in a different way. I think this is what Hope has been holding back. All that anger that came from grief and loss, back to back, Alaric teaching her to hide it and fake it, including her power, now I feel she is just letting herself go in a way. Even little Hope (Summer) showed signs of aggression and anger, but she held back. Obviously her humanity is not something she should let go of either, but her being a vampire heightened everything so it became too much for her. I wonder how Hope is going cope after she turns her humanity back on bc its going to be difficult after all of this. I'm so glad Rebekah is here and I dont think shes just leaving next episode. She better not!

2021-11-13 04:37:38 +0000 UTCReally loved your reaction to seeing Rebekah! I'm so surprised you avoided seeing the news she was coming back! A few things: 1. The bartender was not a hybrid. He was just a regular vampire sent by Triad to find Hope. 2. The dagger dipped in white oak ash doesn't kill Originals, it puts them to sleep. The daggers never worked on Klaus but Rebekah thought she should try and see if it worked on Hope. She even said it was worth a shot. 3. I feel like you were distracted by Rebekah too much and missed the importance of all the Alaric mind scenes. It basically explains why he treated Hope as a higher importance. To him she was always a weapon he could use to protect the twins. 4. We saw the scene with Hope and Alaric up until she did vamp face. We hadn't seen what she actually did to him until this episode. I hope we will see Rebekah again to give the necklace back after Hope turns her humanity back on. This season is shaping up to be one of or maybe the best of the series.
