Legacies 4x09 FULL REACTION

Kaylee left because they wouldn’t fire matt Davis who plays alaric. He tweeted Asian hate and pro trump far right agenda, very hateful things and she immediately unfollowed him along with many of the cast. I even saw him tweet a threat to a fan saying he would shoot the fan if he ever saw her in person. She didn’t feel safe working with him in an unsafe environment. I haven’t supported him since.

In the scene where Kai siphons Bonnie in the prison world (right before she kills him because she realizes he doesn't know the spell so they don't need him) is one of the only times you hear that sound effect. To me it sounds like a distorted/metallic "ahhh"/scream sound and it kinda sounds like Bonnie to me. -- the only other scene in the vampire diaries where this sound effect is used is in season 7 where one of the heretics is siphoning Bonnie and Damon comes up from behind and pulls out the guy's heart. This sound effect has only been used on these 2 scenes with Bonnie afaik. But in legacies this "ahhh" sound effect is used whenever they siphon anything (not always but most or the time). ----- I'm the only one who seems to think so, though. Other people don't seem to hear a scream or think it sounds like Bonnie, but it's only ever used twice and it's with Bonnie (in TVD) so I guess I'm wrong ---- here are the TVD scenes and 2 examples from legacies with the same sound effect https://streamable.com/w21lmz

idk if they used siphonign this episode, but is no one else lowkey offended by the sound effect when they siphon in legacies? It's literally BONNIE SCREAMING IN PAIN. In TVD siphoning never had that sound. It was only when bonnie damon kai were trapped in the prison world and kai was siphoning bonnie threathening to kill her that we heard that sound. And now it's the sound for siphoning in legacies. BUT I NEVER SEE ANYONE MENTION IT

Thank you!! I do not understand why she was confused, Joie explained why she was leaving multiple times i think. She needs to be away from the school's distractions so she can focus on how to get hope back properly

We don't know if that's why she left. Plus we don't know if that's truly what is happening behind the scenes. She could have just wanted to pursue other projects.

To me it feels like this was Kaylee's decision to leave. I saw she was recently cast in something else and she left to do that project. I have a feeling that it will be like Rebekah was in The Originals where we see Josie a couple times per season when Kaylee is free to come back. But that's just my feelings on the matter. As for the reason Josie left, I think your Hosie love clouded you from understanding the meaning of the therapy box. The whole point was that Josie realized that being at a school literally created for her was too much pressure. But to bring Hope back she can't just show up and talk to Hope. That didn't work last time they talked, plus it would probably have ended up like Lizzie's attempt (thank god Lizzie drank vampire blood as a safety net). So she needs to go somewhere (preferably to the witch school with Penelope) to figure out a better way to get to Hope. Still gonna be really weird without Kaylee on this show. But Heratic Lizzie and Hope possibly teaming up is keeping me intrigued for the return in January.

Am I the only one who doesn't think it was a love confession? She said for being part of our family right before that and hope literally killed her after she said "you haven't killed anyone you care about" and I don't even watch legacies like that but from what I seen from watching julies reaction, Lizzie and hope seem more like sisters and hope didn't even kill Josie when she had the chance. She killed Lizzie with no hesitation and didn't even know about the blood in her system, she straight up killed her thinking she would die for good. Idk, maybe it's the actors that don't give off the chemistry for me the way Kaylee and Danielle do in their scenes. (Don't even think to attack my opinion plz)
