2022-12-23 04:19:38 +0000 UTCSPOILERS you’re kind of spoiling juli rn saying that. but i respect that you don’t like rina that’s fine but according to the creator rina was always going to happen and rini wasn’t going to be endgame. rina wasn’t planned from the start they were supposed to be a plot device but after they filmed the car scene he wanted to do more with them (he said that in a pre s2 interview and reiterated it after s3 adding that he wanted to put them together at some point down the line). he’s also said more that hinted at them getting together like in s2 finale interviews and pre s2 interviews all before s3. he even brought up rina when asked about portwell after s2. but in regards to rini he put them back together so they could realize they don’t work anymore (he said this after their s2 breakup) and he wrote their breakup before olivia even decided to leave or things went down before her and josh.

I’m also 100% certain that Rina would not be this big of a thing if it weren’t for Olivia. They planned on Rini and well, they can’t use Nini anymore. I’m not a fan of Rini but I just know they were supposed to be endgame😅

2022-12-23 04:02:37 +0000 UTClmao i didn’t mind certain events that happened in the first half of s2 as i love angst especially now that we got s3 and but 2b really did fall off the rails for me. and not even only or mainly for the reason we’re both probably thinking like every storyline was falling flat or not being completed and i hated the new characters 😭😭 i didn’t even finish 2b that’s how bad it was for me i watched through my twitter tl past ep 7 💀💀i’ll be watching the rest of 2b for the first time with juli.

I don't know why, but I just don't see all the chemistry people talk about with them. I see more chemistry with Ricky and Nini, although I don't really ship them either. The only couple I truly ship on this show is Seb and Carlos. The one thing in this episode I really love is that the theater kids band together to help Miss Jen. It's the first time you really see them as a group of friends and not just acquaintances in a club together.

2022-12-23 03:21:53 +0000 UTCi didn’t even see you posted this my notifications for patreon have not been coming through lately 😒😒 also i have your luck with ships where it takes forever but i love a god slow burn so i’m ok with that. you binging the rest of the season is crazy you’re gonna get whiplash 😭😭 you can take as long as you want uploading i think we’ll all still be here to watch! i love that ricky and gina connecting is helping her see what she actually wants and not making her feel like she HAS to get things. i feel like their connection and him actually giving her a chance can lead her to being able to put herself out there and connect with others more. you mentioning his fear of change again keep that in mind especially for the end of the season 🥴🥴 it really felt like ricky was going for it when he mentioned not forgetting anything about homecoming but gina avoided it or maybe didn’t realize what he was trying to say 🤔🤔 that’s always the vibes i got. THE RINA SPIN HUG. one of favorite scenes of theirs. you CAN’T deny the chemistry especially when the creator said their chemistry is the whole reason he decided to make them a thing. i love you mentioning them supporting each other and lifting each other up. ricky telling her how great she is at everything and gina supporting his acoustic song idea. it’s just nice to see bc it seems like not everyone has much faith in ricky even nini (but once again i do understand why she said what she said in ep 2). i agree with you. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t when it’s an already pre established before the show couple. rini does not work for me. i didn’t want to hate on them as a ship too much bc i wasn’t sure how you were gonna feel about them but now that you don’t seem to care about them together i feel comfortable expressing it lmaoo but to me like i said in previous comments it’s just them continuously telling me there’s something there when all it feels like is someone that can’t let go of the past and fears change (ricky) and someone who is better without him as her bf (nini). i don’t think they’ve even explained why they like each other or shown us why they were a couple in the first place. “if nini proposed that to him i think he will agree” agree! and i don’t think that would mean he doesn’t like gina enough or as much but his want for everything to be the same would take over. oh my godd juli listening to your entire explanation of ricky as a character and rini and rina and where those relationships are and where they can go is making me want to force certain hsmtmts to listen to your reaction because YOU GET IT. so glad you’re on the ship listen no spoilers but i need you stay strong during season two. i was in hell watching that season for many reasons 💀💀 i totally respect nini and how she feels about ej. i’m glad they kind of are getting their closure and i don’t see them going back to them. if i remember correctly she was a super fan of high school musical. i don’t hate miss jenn but she has her moments where i’m like girl what are you doing. like a less bad mr shue for real 😭😭

They are strangely enough one of the best ships I've ever seen which is crazy because this show is marketed toward teens. They just exceed the writing of the show. It's like the chemistry (which somehow gets way better than it already is) and how they just understand each other. Really looking forward to you seeing more of them and the rest of the season and eventually getting to s3 because it is hands down the best season of the show.
