Not gonna lie, im fine with rina and with rini. Im also not that passionate, that i talk bad about another ship. but i actually think rini is cute (also i love olivia/nini in generell), and youre trashtalk hurts just a little bit lol. but i still get it, if youre crazy about a ship then youre probaby not gonna like one from them with another person. I actually get why they got rini together again. their lovestory was the main point at the show at the begging. they were set up to be the ship. and im sure olivia and joshua had a thing during that time. so the chemie was there. that was until the olivia and joshua drama came, with olivia getting big. and many people shipping rina like crazy. I think it was 50/50 thought. some liked rini, some liked rina.

2023-02-07 21:58:52 +0000 UTCyou trying to do the entire season today is absolute insanity good luck juli i love ricky laughing at gina especially because it wasn’t even funny but he still laughed like it was the funniest thing in the world 😭😭 also really loved him supporting her idea just like she supported his suggestion in rehearsal, when nini had a problem about being surrounded by boys. It’s cool that they can make it a joke and ricky’s not taking it too seriously or trying to make it into a big deal, but it sucks that it’s actually kinda hurts gina and i wish she could talk to him about it but obviously, that would make the entire situation awkward so it’s easier to just pretend she’s fine with it which might not bode well for her in the end if it keeps piling onto other stuff that she is upset about. and it’s not it’s not it’s ricky’s fault or anything but still it just sucks for her. and as usual i find myself wondering what's going on in ricky’s head. his facial expressions during the conversation with gina and big res i was like ricky i need to dig into your mind let me in let me see what you're thinking. because once again he has a conflicted look on his face and he also doesn't want big red asking gina for advice regarding nini and spoke against it several times until gina made sure to tell him that it was fine and she didn't mind. It would be nice if they can actually have a conversation about their relationship even if it ended up with gina being rejected or whatever because at least they can have some closure but it's really like they had no closure. she’s not even telling him that the chocolate joke is bothering her so he just assumes that they're having fun and they're getting back to being friends which is like great but it's hurtful for her to just be friends with him and it's very clear and he's not getting that. and whatever feelings he may have still for her are so buried, and obviously are not going to come out that much when he’s with nini. it really is heartbreaking seeing gina struggling with assumed unrequited love. and not only that she's also struggling with her mom being gone, feeling like she's not appreciated as a choreographer and with a role she doesn't want along with her feelings for ricky it's just tough for her right now and i feel so bad. but sofia wylie (her actress) is killing it as usual. she shines every season but she really shines as an actress this season. i completely understand that nini has realized she doesn’t really fit in there and it’s not actually what she wants. and that’s fine but i really wish it was done in a different way because i feel like the arc just was nothing. it ended up being nothing important or really give her any growth. she’s kind of realized she doesn’t like it there maybe because she feels confined which is fine but to me i just wish they did it in a different way. i guess because their seasons are so short it can’t be dragged out too much but i think if she stayed there for a longer time and then we slowly saw her start to regret it and not want to be there and not like it there even though she thought she was going to love it that would’ve been cool, but since the time is so short, and the seasons are so short, we really don’t have a time for that. but then again, i wasn’t really interested in the storyline anyways so i can’t act like i’m too upset about it like I said, i’m kind of re-watching this season for the first time with you, so i kind of forgot about how intense the carlos and gina fight got, but i thought it was really interesting because they both have strong personalities and think the same. but i also love that they care about each other so much and they were able to resolve it. but like you said, is it really resolved if gina is not actually happy with the outcome. like it’s great that she’s having character development but she doesn’t want people to think that she’s like that anymore so much that she’s hiding her own shine. and i think it could be good if she was able to be the gina from season one that goes for what she wants and doesn’t hold back, but also be that gina that cares about her friends and can do teamwork. she doesn’t have to pick one or the other and i hope she can realize that i think this ej storyline is interesting and i like it for him but without spoilers i really wish they did more with it and i guess i will elaborate later on in the season.

2023-02-07 20:23:38 +0000 UTCI mean I agree with you, but I’m just saying it’s nice to see rina not get trashed you know what I mean 😭😭 but at the end of the day, shipping wars are always going to be a thing and people are always going to trash other ships. I personally try not to, and I respect when other people ship things other than me and I totally get why people would ship rini but it’s like from the beginning of time shipping wars is full of people hating on each other’s ships, and I feel like that’s never going to end. But I don’t think there’s anything wrong with expressing your dislike for a ship as long as you’re not talking directly to people that ship them and commenting on their post all the time hate towards that ship, because seriously, just leave it alone if you don’t ship it

2023-02-07 20:09:02 +0000 UTCi really love angst so where rina is at right now is painful but tbh i ate it up. it is really hard to see gina like this though especially because you can tell she has never felt this way about anyone before and ricky, the one person she tells everything to, is the person she can't talk to about this so she feels so alone right now. sofia wylie is killing it with the acting as usual but she really takes it to another level in these episodes. really really excited for you to get to episode 6!

2023-02-07 20:03:58 +0000 UTCi’m nearing the end of your reaction and I’m sorry but i know i’m also biased as a rina shipper too but i don’t mind that you’re bitchy about rini because if you were here to experience the way rina shippers have been treated by other shippers during all three seasons it’s actually insane. people are so nasty to us 😭😭 so when people are nasty about other ships i’m like well at least rina is being left alone 😒😒
