You should check out more of their discography if you haven't already. I think you'll find them a bit edgier than Red Velvet. Funny enough, I thought "Zimzalabim" would've been better suited for f(x) when I first heard it, but seeing how much Red Velvet enjoyed performing it I thought they managed to make it there own.

2019-10-25 05:14:01 +0000 UTCYaaaay! I'm so glad you checked out my request! SHINee will always be my favorite performers, but f(x)'s discography is my favorite. I have yet to find a group's music that I love more. Red Velvet gets pretty close, but f(x)'s albums are golden to me--untouchable. Truly experimental and EDGY. I've been listening to their Pink Tape album on repeat for the past three months while I'm in the car, and I continue to be struck by how cohesive and well composed it is; it doesn't sound dated even though it came out in 2013. I know I'm gushing, but f(x) was one of the first girl groups that I had followed from debut until now. I remembered the early day struggles for them to find a musical style, a sound that was unique to them (especially since 2NE1 debuted around the same time). NuABO was a starting point that got them noticed and got most people scratching their heads, but when they finally produced Pink Tape they finally solidified their sound. As a fan, I couldn't have been prouder considering the accolades they recieved outside the fandom. I hope you continue to check out their music--there's nothing like it.
