So ends another four-part series at an ideal time, given my birthday is a couple days away; since I'm now free of self-imposed obligations, I can reassess my ambitions for the next year...I believe I want to primarily focus on figurative/anatomical studies, full digital illustrations, and traditional narrative paintings with occasional, small master copies (i.e. subjects I thoroughly enjoy). Unlike my former self, I feel fully prepared to embrace the ultimate challenge, to push my work ever closer to the elusive realism I've long coveted, regardless the time any single piece demands; hopefully, the dream of years ago will finally come to fruition...
