Friday is coming to an end once more and with it, the second development  week of the 0.24.0 release. For non-technical week, there were so many bugs to fix, not just in the public build but also for the prerelease due to the UI overhauls. A voice in my head kept whispering I should just move the last ticket, the new lewd scene of this week, and pick it up next devweek... But! Luckily I don't have a demon stuck up in there and managed to finish it up just in time!

So, let's take a look at what's new this week! It's corruption week, so the main focus was the real world. Here we have 4 new corruption scenes, 1 of them being a lewd scene, 1 new corruption passive, and 2 new mental changes.

The first three corruption scenes are mostly left-overs that I had originally planned for the 0.23.0 release but didn't make it in. They show the consequences of all the meddling Alicia has been recently capable of doing in the Knowledge Room, msotly focusing on George and Laura as interaction partners. The new passive Lack Of Willpower To Study affects once again Aura's ability to read books. If you have any of the Cursed states, you won't be able to read long (>=4 Required Progress) books, modeling Aura's wavering ability to "pull through" when it comes to studying.

The last corruption scene is a new lewd scene. For that you need to use the new Lewd Knowledge Orb in the Knowledge Room and inserted into an empty shelf. It will trigger the next stage in the masturbation event chain and start out Aura's future journey into the world of porn, and from there into sex toys and other things!

The last new mental change doesn't have any consequences as of now, but is symbolically important as it marks the 50% milestone of the corruption story. In the Interests Room you can now make Aura feel competitive about her apperances rather than her old focus on studying. While the mental change itself doesn't trigger a real world corruption scene, it does come with some dialogue interaction between Aura and Alicia, basically a sort of "Chapter 2-B" starting mark.

Other than that, it's mostly just more bug fixes as mentioned before :'D

On the other departments, our UI Coder has started working on the map HUD menu, you have already seen the progress on the Hermit 2 H-CG. Sadly it's a bit slower than I was hoping for, so we will probably get the shaded verison next week and then start on Hermit 3. I was hoping Hermit 2 could be finished this week, then that would mean Hermit 3 would also have a good chance of finishing in time for 0.24.0, but right now it looks like it will get delivered in the first prerelease week for the next major release cycle. Oh well.

I have also started some first discussions with the composer and created a spreadsheet with some budget calculations and my ideas for tracks for him to fill out and expand on. Let's see where this will take us.

Aaaand that's it! Next week it's back to Roya, I will first wrap up the side quest I had started to stub last prerelease week and then move on to the Belphegor boss fight. Like I mentioned in the project plan, it's likely that I will not be able to complete it by next Friday, so the next prerelease will most likely only contain the integrated Hermit 2 H-CG plus the side quest.
