Doctor Fate is a great pull. Have you read the Paul Levitz Doctor Fate series where the host is younger man?
2019-09-16 18:58:46 +0000 UTCYou had asked about what our favorite mystic characters are. As of early this year it’s Doctor Fate. I did a deep dive on the character from February to April and read nearly all of his/her/there stories a handful from early runs of More Fun, some All Star stuff, all the 70’s one off’s/Secret Origins, his early 90’s run, skipped his super 90’s stuff that was out around Zero Hour, read a bunch of JSA, and all the rest I’m up to date. Fate is such a interesting character and hasn’t had a good solo in a long time. The Justice League Dark from last year to now has been the best since the early 90’s. But the character is so perfect to talk about abuse of power and consent. So much untapped. Also it’s just a fun character.
