Chapter 365: Three Angles on Poison Cultivation
Added 2024-10-09 17:00:10 +0000 UTCEven though Zae Zin Nim was not a participant in this round of poison cultivation, as she had come to think of it, she still enjoyed being present. The most socially acceptable reason was that she was waiting for her turn, she had a much lewder idea of her own, and the truth that was difficult to admit... she enjoyed watching them.
Their husband sat on their bed, cradling their wife in his arms. Despite the motive of gaining poison immunity, they were making love very sweetly: Kai gripped Omilaena’s back in undisguised need and she gently stroked his face. They moved in blissful unison despite the fact that the poison was spreading rapidly throughout Kai’s body, even visible in dark blue veins now. Omilaena soothed the veins on his face and neck while occasionally kissing him.
At the moment Kai was pursuing his own pleasure in a way they rarely got to see, seeking his release before he was overwhelmed. Zae Zin Nim was proud of him for adapting so rapidly, even though he always said it was merely his monstrous ability. She was certain that at least part of it was how deeply he embraced their wife and her poisons.
Suddenly Kai buried his face in Omilaena’s hair as his body shook. Moments after he achieved his pleasure, his arms went slack and he collapsed like a puppet without strings. Omilaena followed him back still holding his head, preventing it from slamming, so he simply dropped back as if his release had overwhelmed him.
That was the first time Kai had managed to resist her poison for so long, so it was a major milestone. Zae Zin Nim couldn’t compliment him on that until he woke up, but she could take care of their mutual wife. Omilaena had clearly enjoyed the experience but needed more - despite the way she enjoyed using her poison, she had not achieved physical release often during these sessions.
Today that would change. Zae Zin Nim embraced her wife, filled with carnal desire, and drew her down to the bed beside their husband. Immediately she settled in to minster to Omilaena’s pleasure - her wife laughed happily, which was reward enough.
The inclusion of poison was strange, yet Zae Zin Nim no longer felt the overpowering numbness. Instead she experienced a tingling that was not unpleasant, and though it was poison, it was her wife’s poison and she chose to embrace it. When this period of time was over, they would have been drawn even closer together, and all she did was in thanks for that act of trust.
Even though the act was strange at first, Zae Zin Nim was happy to minister to her wife’s womanhood and had gained considerable understanding of the other woman. To her joy, she managed to help Omilaena reach release.
As her wife settled back onto the bed, utterly relaxed, Zae Zin Nim gave silent thanks to their husband, who had carried half the journey. Without his help, the poison spreading through Zae Zin Nim’s system would have stopped her before completion.
"Oh, come up here." Omilaena grabbed Zae Zin Nim and pulled her into an embrace that was really very sweet - it seemed as though the more poison she expelled in a literal sense, the more tenderly she treated them. "Have you been planning that?"
"You deserve pleasure too," Zae Zin Nim said, though the words came out slow and slushy.
"You’re adapting quickly, for someone without unfair advantages. But let me finish you off with another dose." Omilaena caressed her stomach, for once not in any hurry, and Zae Zin Nim decided to speak before she was overwhelmed.
"Thank you. For trusting us with your secret weapon."
"Of course." Omilaena kissed her cheek as she began to touch her intimately. "We’re in this forever, aren’t we?"
"I wish... I had an equivalent weakness... to offer..."
"Hush, you’re already showing plenty of vulnerability trusting me with this. Now relax and let me take care of you in turn."
And so Zae Zin Nim found her own pleasure, though it was due to her wife’s kindness instead of her own achievement. She relaxed and surrendered to the embrace of the poison.

(AUTHOR’S NOTE: Omilaena’s perspective on the above events is unprintable in this edition.)
Once both of her lovers were sleeping off her poison, Omilaena set about strengthening her chakra. Partially because the work took the edge off all the sex, but it was directly relevant because there was a lot of work to do taking care of them.
Unlike the others, who pushed toward major breakthroughs, all of Omilaena’s advancement was incremental. She’d had some time to work on her Lethal Artisan and Venomsteel abilities, but Heart of Poison had barely inched up while on Darkmist Island. Most frustratingly, she hadn’t been able to make any progress with her Azure Core at all.
That was just a big fucking mystery, but Omilaena had an idea for her poisons. Once she’d made Kai and Zae Zin Nim completely immune to her core venom, she could begin developing new strains of the poison in their bodies. She was certain it wouldn’t harm them physically, though she’d need to consult with Zae Zin Nim so as not to interfere with her cultivation. But if it worked...
If this worked, she would be able to make an advancement she never could have managed with meaningless lovers. Her core poison had become so lethal that it killed off test subjects before their energy could have much effect on the poison. But trusting these two enough to give them power over her would hopefully give her two willing vessels for new poisons, which would give her the power she’d never been able to attain before.
As she stared at their bodies, lying unconscious but sated, Omilaena had to admit that it would be worth it even without that. Not that she would ever admit it.

That's fair, but that's also why it's isolated to the honeymoon chapters. Next week starts book four, which will be basically the same balance as the previous book.

2024-10-09 21:55:14 +0000 UTCI don’t mind the occasional focus on romance, but this is getting too much. It’s been like four or five chapters of nonstop erotica. I like the story for it power leveling, and themes of overcoming your circumstances. If I wanted to read erotica I’d be on the hub instead…. Please let’s just move on from this.
