I’m back home in Colorado as of last night!

It’s such a good feeling! I’ve had a wonderful time out in New Jersey but I’m glad to be back home! I missed my little dog so much!

I’m getting settled in, catching up with things (helping my mom pick the last of the tomatoes before the coming freeze!) and generally feeling happy about coming back!

I flew in late on the 9th and after crashing in a comfy hotel room, I was planning on flying to the Western Slope the evening of the 10th but, I ended up hanging out with my best friend and she offered to drive me home instead! It was entirely the best option and it was so nice to catch up with her! We went on small detours to catch some of the changing colors in the state on the way home and she got to stay the night here with me before heading back home herself. I’m really looking forward to seeing her again in a couple days for her birthday and we’re gonna be attending the wedding of our mutual friend who we both met on Furcadia the day after her birthday. It should be a wonderful time 💜

I’m hoping the weather will be kind for a trip to see some more colors tomorrow (the 12th) as well!
