I also find it interesting that Kumoko's deeds are in the past while the students is the present time. We have no idea how far Kumoko has come if she is still alive... which I do believe she is. She is the main character after all.

A few things to note the sea horse, the catfish, the eel, and the 4th type of monster that didn't even get shown are all Wyrms in the same evolution chain in that order leading up to Fire Dragon. Those dead creatures it showed weren't killed by the fire dragon they worked for the fire dragon the anime leaves out this 1 very important detail Mother was who attacked the Fire Dragon and killed it's servants.

2021-07-29 18:45:17 +0000 UTCThe characters are all unreliable narrators because the author actually takes the effort to make their perspective realistic imo. For example, our MC doesn't know anything outside of the cave cause... she's never been out there. Every character's PoV is influenced by their environment and you can see it in the plot.
