Apoclypse Now is a famous 1979 war movie based on Vietnam. The JSDF commander at the beginning of the episode mentioned LT. Killgore, who is a villain in the movie. And the scene when Ride of the Valkyries played, is a direct reference to the movie, as it had the same scene in it

2021-08-18 21:28:57 +0000 UTCThose Poor Soldiers who got murked by the AH1 Attack Helicopter inside the Gate, they were shredded to Pieces. Here is a Picture that shows how Dangerous there Bullets are: https://freeimage.host/i/RlJ0iu Left Bullet is a 12,7mm, like you find them used in American M2 Machine Gun, or Snipers like the M82. The Bullet on the Right besides that is a 20mm, like its used in the M61 Vulcan Gatling Gun or the AH1s M197 Gatling Gun. The M197 for example has a Fire Rate of 1500 Shots/Minute, so as you mentioned, they were literally mowed down.
